💫 #rewrite #lyrics

My American why’s

Oldie Goldie #ReWhit or when I #rewrite #lyrics

Not a very long time ago, I can still remember How the #US used to make me smile And I knew if I had my chance That I could make those people prance And maybe they'd be #kinder for a while

But the Persian Gulf made me shiver With every news source I’d devour Bad news at our doorsteps I couldn't take one more death I can remember how I cried When I read about #Americans pride But something changed me deep inside The day the people chose sides

So, why, why did Miss America die? Told my story to The world, but The world was a lie And them good old boys were drinkin' whiskey in Rye Singin', "This'll be the day that I die This'll be the day that I die"

Did you see the looks of judge? Did you shoot for faith in God above If the Bible tells you so? Now do you believe in #love and #soul Can humans save our morals, Bro And can you teach me how to Breathe real slow?

Well, I know that you're in love with Him Cause I saw you preaching of the sins We both kicked off our shoes Then I live those chasms and views

I was a lonely teenager humpin’ ruck With a pink complexion & an Army Truck But I knew I was out of luck The day my battle buddy tried The day my battle buddy died

I started screaming', "Cry-Cry -Miss #Liberty dies Drove my Scary to The Friendly, but The Friendly was dry Them good old boys were speaking Freedom Inside

I was Singin', "This'll be the day that I cry This'll be the last 1️⃣ day that I cry"

( transition )

Now for many years we've been on our own And WEALTH grew fat on a spinnin’ stone But that's not how it used to be

( ⏰⏳⌛️ timing though I can write a simple code to change it for all the timelines right ..: )

When the jester sang for the king and queen In a coat he borrowed from Times Obscene And a choice that came for you and me

Oh, and while the #Queen was looking down The jesters grew its horny crown The boardroom was concerned No perfect was discerned And why Freedoms Bled, dumb like a Fox Puppeteers practiced in the dark And we watched movies in the park The day human Kind died

(American pie lyrics repeat)

And do you have love in humans above If the logic tells you so? Do you believe in lock 'n' load? Can politics save your tormented soul? And can you PLEASE teach me how to Breathe real slow?

• Helter Skelter on the world shelter
• the banks flew off with a bailout schedule Eight miles high and fallin' fast
• Rates sky high and climbing fast It landed fowl on the grass
• It branded scowls on the class The players tried for a forward pass
• The day traders tried for a forward mast

With the “FESTER” in the boardrooms in the past

Now, the half-time BLAIR was sweet perfume While the PLAYBOYS played a CHARGING tune We all got up to parlance Oh, but we never got the chance

'Cause the SPEAKERS tried to take the field ‘Cause the PEACEMAKERS tried to take field The marching HATE refused to yield Do you recall what was revealed The day HUMAN KIND died?

I started SCREAMING', "WHY WHY -Miss Liberty dies Drove my Scary to The Friendly, but The Friendly was SLY Them good old boys were speaking Freedom Inside Singin', "This'll be the day that WE DIE This'll be the day WE ALL DIE!

Oh, and there now , we are all in one place All Generations lost in cyberspace With no time left to start again So come on, Attack be nimble, Attack be quick Attack Trolls rage on a constant uptick

• Cause hate is divisions best friend Oh, and as I watched them on the stage

My hands were clenched in fists of rage

• My heart broke open in hopes to engage

No angel born in Hell

• No angel born in Hell

Could break that Satan's spell

• Could break MISS Informations swell

And as the flames climbed high into the night

• And as the Claims climbed high into the Sites To light the sacrificial rite
• to light the superficial spite I saw Satan laughing with delight
• I saw Liars laughing with delight The day the music died
• the day my free speech died

He was singin', "Bye-bye, Miss American Spy" Drove my words to The online, but The online was sly Them good old boys were Spittin’ shadow bans & lies And singin', "This'll be the day that she dies This'll be the day that ONE die"

===

I met a girl who sang the blues

• I was a girl who claimed the news And I asked her for some happy news
• And I freely gave all some happy views But she just smiled and turned away
• But wealth just smirked and pushed me away I went down to the sacred store
• I went down to that sacred store Where I'd heard the music years before
• Where I’d known MY truth years before

But the man there said the music wouldn't play

• But the pain there said the humans wouldn’t stay And in the streets, the children screamed
• and in the boards, the children dreamed The lovers cried and the poets dreamed
• Unkind bothers lied and the poets unseen But not a word was spoken
• But no human word was posted The church bells all were broken
• The brain cells all were stolen
• And the three things I admire most
• The You, Me and the We They caught the last train for the coast
• They took the last brain for the roast The day Human Kind died

And they were singin', "Bye-bye, Miss American Pie"

• And they were singin’ Hi-High, Miss Love A.I. Drove my Chevy to The Levee, but The Levee was dry
• Drove my brainy to the Query but the Query was a lie

And Them good old boys were drinkin' whiskey in Rye

• And Them good old rich were drinkin water in the sky Singin', "This'll be the day that they die This'll be the day that Earth dies”

=====

They were singin', "Bye-bye, Miss American Pie"

• They were leaving’: “Bye, Bye Blue Marble Sky” Drove my Chevy to The Levee, but The Levee was dry
• Road my wealth to the rocket, where to space we will fly Them good old boys were drinkin' whiskey in Rye Singin', "This'll be the day the poor die"
