How #self-identified #Christians don’t act like the #Bible tells them to
#🧵 #savage #truth time
This isn’t about hypocrisy in the abstract. It’s about #patterned #disobedience wrapped in #religious #branding
- Jesus centered the poor. Christians mostly center comfort.
Bible:
Care for the poor, the widow, the orphan. Sell what you have. Share. Wealth is a spiritual danger, not a blessing.
Reality: Many modern Christians:
#Defend #extreme #wealth #inequality
#Shame the #poor as #”lazy”
#Worship #prosperity as #proof of #virtue
That’s not #Christianity
That’s #capitalism with #Bible #quotes taped on.
