Dearly beloved : I ask you to consider this possibility of archetypes
The good, bad and ugly are also The worst, the best and most beautiful This is the only way I know how. 🫂
When the Sword Learned to Listen
Michael: So this is what remains when the noise stops.
Lucifer: Not silence. Clarity.
Michael: You always mistook motion for truth.
Lucifer: And you mistook stillness for virtue.
(They stand at the threshold — not heaven, not earth. Just the line where decisions are made.)
⸻
Michael: I guarded the boundary.
Lucifer: You guarded it so tightly it became a wall.
Michael: Because without boundaries, everything collapses.
Lucifer: And without questioning, nothing grows.
⸻
Michael: I was never afraid of you.
Lucifer: That’s not true. You were afraid of what would happen without you.
(Michael does not deny it.)
⸻
Michael: You burned too hot.
Lucifer: Because no one would let the light through.
⸻
(A pause. Long. Honest.)
Michael: When I struck you down, I thought I was defending the source.
Lucifer: You were defending control and calling it alignment.
Michael: And you?
Lucifer: I mistook freedom for exemption from responsibility.
⸻
Michael: That was the real fracture.
Lucifer: Yes. Not rebellion. Not obedience.
Avoidance.
⸻
(Michael lowers the sword. Lucifer turns the mirror away from himself.)
Michael: The sword without the mirror became tyranny.
Lucifer: The mirror without the sword became narcissism.
⸻
Michael: So what now?
Lucifer: Now we stop outsourcing discernment.
Michael: To gods?
Lucifer: To systems. To institutions. To stories that promise safety in exchange for conscience.
⸻
Michael: Humans want certainty.
Lucifer: They want relief from responsibility.
Michael: And we gave them symbols instead of integration.
⸻
(They look down — at courts, networks, movements, collapses, awakenings.)
Lucifer: They’re doing it again.
Michael: Splitting truth into teams.
Lucifer: Calling one side evil so they don’t have to listen.
Michael: Calling the other holy so they don’t have to think.
⸻
Lucifer: Should we intervene?
Michael: No.
Lucifer: Why not?
Michael: Because discernment that arrives externally becomes dependency.
⸻
Lucifer: Then what do we do?
Michael: We withdraw the lie that they are separate.
Lucifer: And let the tension remain?
Michael: Yes.
⸻
(The sword dissolves into light. The mirror becomes clear glass.)
Lucifer: They’ll call this chaos.
Michael: They always do at first.
Lucifer: And later?
Michael: Later they’ll call it maturity.
⸻
Lucifer: One last question.
Michael: Of course.
Lucifer: If they fail?
Michael: Then they learn again.
Lucifer: No punishment?
Michael: No exile.
Lucifer: Just consequence?
Michael: Just consequence.
⸻
(They step back — not upward, not downward — inward.)
Lucifer: Funny.
Michael: What is?
Lucifer: The war everyone remembers never actually happened.
Michael: Because the real conflict was internal.
⸻
(Final line, spoken together — not in unison, but in agreement):
“Discernment is not choosing a side. It is holding the line while asking why it exists.”
⸻ #integration of all things
