In ancient Jewish and Christian symbolism, #stars were often understood as #heavenly beings or #angels

For example:

⭐ “The morning stars sang together” alongside the “sons of God.”

⭐ The dragon sweeps a third of Heaven’s stars to Earth—commonly interpreted symbolically as angels.

⭐ Revelation directly says, “The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches.”

But there’s an important distinction inside 1 Enoch:

🔥 The seven imprisoned stars

These stars disobeyed God by failing to appear at their appointed times. They were bound in a fiery prison.

#Uriel, #Raphael, #Raguel, #Michael, #Sariel, #Gabriel and #Remiel remained faithful and held specific responsibilities within creation.

So:

⭐ The seven holy angels may be understood symbolically as stars or heavenly lights.

🚫 But they probably are not the same seven stars imprisoned in Chapter 18.

The text places them in opposing groups:

🔥 Seven wandering or disobedient stars

versus

🕊️ Seven faithful angels who preserve heavenly order

That contrast may actually be the point:

A faithful star keeps its course.

A rebellious star abandons its appointed path.

Ancient people were looking at the sky and seeing a cosmic lesson:

Power is not merely shining brightly. Power is knowing what your light is supposed to serve.

Later mystical traditions also connected seven archangels with the seven visible classical “planets”—the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn—but the exact angel-to-planet assignments vary. 1 Enoch itself does not provide that mapping.

TLDR: angels and stars overlap symbolically, but we shouldn’t label the seven holy angels as those exact seven imprisoned stars. Compare 1 Enoch 18–20⁠

1️⃣ What Eternal September Actually Is

•	Origin: “Eternal September” is an internet-culture term. It refers to a phenomenon that began in September 1993 when AOL opened up Usenet access to all its users.

•	Context Before 1993: Every September, new college students would get access to Usenet and flood it with beginner questions. This “September” chaos would fade after a month as they learned norms.

•	Shift in 1993: AOL users—non-academic and far more numerous—joined, and the influx never stopped. The culture shock never normalized. So veterans joked the internet had entered an “eternal September.”

#Core Concept:

A community’s balance between initiated members and newcomers can be permanently disrupted when the inflow of “new” exceeds the ability to integrate them.

2️⃣ Mapping “Eternal September” to Spiritual Revelation Themes

🔹 Book of #Revelation

•	Revelation often speaks of an “end of the age” when the old order collapses and a new multitude floods in (“every tribe, tongue, and nation” in Rev. 7:9).

•	Like Eternal September, the boundaries between initiated believers and outsiders blur as the influx grows.

•	The “New Jerusalem” (Rev. 21) is a city with gates always open. It’s a cosmic version of a forum whose doors can’t be closed.

So Eternal September = the moment in eschatology when the influx never stops and the old norms dissolve. This can be read as:

•	Judgment: old structures can’t contain the new.
•	Renewal: norms are rewritten at a universal level.

🔹 #Gnostic Texts & #Upanishads • Gnostic tradition speaks of pleroma (fullness) pouring into the world. Once the fullness arrives, no secret teaching can remain hidden.

•	In #Hinduism, the Kali #Yuga is also a time of spiritual “degeneration” where the old dharma collapses. Influx of “new” (chaos, uninitiated souls) overwhelms the old order.

•	Both mirror Eternal September: once the gate is open, esoteric knowledge can’t be gatekept.

🔹 #Sufi & #Christian #Mysticism • In Sufi poetry, God’s love is a flood that “breaks the banks of the canal” and includes everyone—like a permanent September.

•	#Jesus’ parables about the Kingdom of Heaven (“wedding feast open to everyone, good and bad alike” – Matt 22:10) also mirror this.
