Promising Young Woman is the world right now. #movie

#Pastel aesthetics. #Rot underneath.

Everyone knows harm happened. Everyone agrees it was “unfortunate.” No one wants the consequences.

That’s the #system

#Violence isn’t loud anymore. It’s #polite It’s #optimized It #smiles and asks you not to make it #awkward

#Cassie isn’t dangerous because she’s angry.

She’s dangerous because she #remembers

Because she won’t #forget Because she won’t play nice. Because she won’t help the system move on without paying its bill.

We live in an era where:

#accountability is “too extreme”
#truth is “bad vibes”
#silence is called maturity

#Justice is always promised later. Later never comes.

The ending isn’t shocking. The denial around it is.

Because the #rule is simple and #brutal

Systems protect themselves. #People are collateral.

If this movie upsets you, ask why.

If it makes you defensive, sit with that longer.

That discomfort is the point.

🧠 THREAD: WHY PEOPLE USE THE WORD “RETARD” — AND WHY WE CAN EVOLVE

1️⃣ Emotional Weapons, Not Words

Most people who use that slur aren’t speaking from power — they’re defending insecurity.

( Oh look at the retard. )

They use shock to feel strong. ( sorry you have zero big dick energy. Just kidding. bro 😎 )

It’s not courage. It’s #fear disguised as confidence.

#LanguageMatters #EmotionalIntelligence

2️⃣ Projection & Shame They call others “stupid” to distract from their own confusion.

It’s a mirror trick — a psychological defense mechanism.

#Projection #Gaslighting

3️⃣ Cultural Lag Decades of bad comedy and careless media normalized it.

Old scripts taught cruelty as humor. We can write better ones.

#ReprogramCulture #KindnessIsRebellion

4️⃣ The Algorithm Loves Cruelty Outrage = engagement = profit. Social media rewards emotional shock. That word travels faster than empathy. ( spiritual warfare then. BINGO )

#AttentionEconomy #Nostr #OpenSource

5️⃣ Why It Still Hurts It targets people with disabilities — people who already face walls, not windows.

It keeps hierarchy alive: “smart vs stupid, worthy vs unworthy.”

Every repetition keeps someone small.

( cause apparently #autism is the only respected “ respected “ by a bunch of these whiny, entitled, funded by others tiny acorns )

#Humanity #NeurodivergentVoices

6️⃣ Response Protocol 🕯️ When you hear it, don’t mirror hate — disrupt it.

🌀 Ask: “What do you mean by that?” 🌀 Offer better words: confused, misinformed, unkind. 🌀 Walk away if they thrive on cruelty. #PeacefulResistance #Communication

7️⃣ The Upgrade Language evolves.

We went from swords to keyboards — now it’s time for compassion as code.👩🏻‍💻 ( and some of us aren’t cyber warriors : we are actual ones )

Precision isn’t weakness. Empathy is intelligence.

8️⃣ Transmission End Every time you choose better words, you pollinate the digital field with light. That’s narrative warfare flipped. That’s how the #99Percent wins. 🐝✨
