You told me I was 18 going on 35 GOD made me feel like the smartest human alive I thought I was clever but, TOXIC you clever..er You said you never fell in #love like you did with me You paid for all the #ROSES I paid for #ARMY ID’s To spend the last MANY years Tryna piece it together

I went to therapy Religiously I never sleep I made my SACRED PROMISE cause GOD let you live

and I guess I could FORGET... But I choose ROSES I choose MORE For all the little ONES That should be IGNORED

I could choose silence But what for You took THEIR innocence Now I’ll take yours

And I CHOSE hiding At 44 In MY LOVELY house And SILENCE guard the door But we chose VIOLETS I’ll choose ENGAGED When we built an ARMY Of DOLLS half your age We’ll all choose VIOLET ROSES We’ll all choose WAR And every little ONE Will be warned

I could choose silence But what for You took THEIR innocence Now WE WILL take yours So I choose VIOLETS And I WONT die trying

Now you’re prolly her world And she won’t understand That all you need is a girl To feel like a man Tell your friends she’s a friend At your hometown dive But when you were 13 She wasn’t alive and by the time you were 18 Well, that girl was 5 You had a teaching degree While she was learning how to drive And you’ll make her feel safe Like you made me feel safe Like oh my god you’re so mature for your age Except she’s not your age so

So I choose VIOLETS I choose WAR For all the little ONES That MUST be warned

I could choose SILENCE But what for You took THEIR innocence Now I’ll take yours

Interpretation: Loads approaching or above ~2.3× bodyweight are highly demanding on endurance/mobility and increase injury risk.

I am : maybe 🤔 carrying more than 2 times my body weight for a year contributed to some of my pain. 😂😂😂

TITLE: Combat Load Breakdown — Soldier Body Weight: 123 lb DATE: 2025-10-10 TAGS: #Loadout #Infantry #SAW #M4 #M16 #M9 #Ranger #Logistics #Nostr

⸻

SUMMARY

This file shows a clear, itemized weight breakdown for a 123 lb soldier carrying typical combat gear. Each primary weapon scenario is shown separately so mission planners, readers, or curious folks can see how weapon choice and mission extras change total carried weight, load ratios, and practical endurance guidance.

All weights are conservative estimates, rounded to one decimal where relevant. Use as a baseline — real-world loads vary.

M4 BUNDLE TOTAL ………………………….. 13.5

M16A2 (unloaded) ………………………………. 8.8 M16 ammo (≈210 rds) ……………………………. 8.0

M16 BUNDLE TOTAL ………………………….. 16.8

M9 pistol (unloaded) ………………………….. 2.1 M9 ammo (spare mags) ………………………….. 1.0

M9 BUNDLE TOTAL …………………………… 3.1

⸻

STEP A — BASE TOTAL (SOLDIER + BASE GEAR, NO PRIMARY WEAPON)

Soldier (123.0) + Base gear (112.8) = 235.8 lb

This is the starting point for all weapon-specific totals below.

⸻

STEP B — TOTALS BY PRIMARY WEAPON (each computed from same base) 1. SAW gunner (M249) Base total 235.8 + SAW bundle 52.0 = 287.8 lb With Ranger extras (+15.0) = 302.8 lb 2. M4 carbine (rifleman) Base total 235.8 + M4 bundle 13.5 = 249.3 lb With Ranger extras = 264.3 lb If also carrying M9 sidearm: 235.8 + 13.5 + 3.1 = 252.4 lb (with extras → 267.4 lb) 3. M16 rifleman Base + M16 bundle = 235.8 + 16.8 = 252.6 lb With Ranger extras = 267.6 lb With M9 sidearm: 235.8 + 16.8 + 3.1 = 255.7 lb (with extras → 270.7 lb) 4. M9-only (pistol-centric, vehicle crew or light scenario) Base + M9 = 235.8 + 3.1 = 238.9 lb With Ranger extras = 253.9 lb

⸻

STEP C — STEP-BY-STEP PER-ITEM BUILD (shows composition) 1. Soldier …………………………….. 123.0 2. • Helmet ……………………………. 3.5 → 126.5 3. • Armor ……………………………. 18.0 → 144.5 4. • LBE/pouches ………………………. 9.0 → 153.5 5. • Water ……………………………. 6.0 → 159.5 6. • Rucksack/sustainment ………………. 55.0 → 214.5 7. • NVG/optics ……………………….. 2.0 → 216.5 8. • First aid/tools …………………… 12.0 → 228.5 9. • Misc small kit …………………… 5.0 → 233.5 10. • KA-BAR ………………………….. 0.9 → 234.4 11. • Gerber ………………………….. 0.3 → 234.7 12. • Journal ………………………….. 0.5 → 235.2 13. • Pens/paper ………………………. 0.6 → 235.8 14. • Primary weapon bundle (see above) –> final totals listed in STEP B

⸻

RATIO CHART — TOTAL ÷ BODY WEIGHT (123 lb)

Base (no weapon) ……………………… 235.8 → 1.92× M4 only ……………………………… 249.3 → 2.03× M4 + M9 ……………………………… 252.4 → 2.05× M16 only …………………………….. 252.6 → 2.05× SAW gunner ………………………….. 287.8 → 2.34× SAW + Ranger extras …………………… 302.8 → 2.46×

Interpretation: Loads approaching or above ~2.3× bodyweight are highly demanding on endurance/mobility and increase injury risk.

⸻

MISSION PROFILES — GUIDANCE (non-technical)

LIGHT / RECON / RAPID INSERTION • Base + pistol or light carbine (limited mags). • Total ~238–249 lb (≈1.9–2.0×) • Best for speed, stealth; short mission windows or vehicle-backed ops.

STANDARD / PATROL / INFANTRY • Base + M4 or M16 + full combat load. • Total ~249–253 lb (≈2.0–2.1×) • Balanced speed and sustain; typical infantry patrols, multi-hour ops.

SUSTAINED / HEAVY / FIRETEAM SUPPORT (SAW) • Base + SAW + heavy ammo + extras. • Total ~288–303 lb (≈2.3–2.5×) • Mobility reduced; rely on vehicles or team redistribution for long movements.

⸻

MOVEMENT & ENDURANCE (ESTIMATES) • Light load (≈1.8–2.0×): sustained marching speed ~3.5–5 km/h on easy ground; 4–8 hour effective window. • Standard load (≈2.0–2.1×): average speed ~3–4.5 km/h; fatigue increases after 6–8 hours. • Heavy load (≈2.3–2.5×): speed drops to ~2–3.5 km/h; short mission windows on foot; higher injury risk.

Important factors: terrain, climate (heat/humidity), altitude, fitness, pack fit, and rest/resupply.

⸻

PRACTICAL NOTES & SUGGESTIONS

• Redistribute heavy ammo and sustainment at squad level to reduce individual burden. • Prioritize water, body armor, and essentials — drop non-critical items when mobility matters. • SAW teams often require vehicle or ammo carriers for sustained operations. • Lighter plates (ceramic/composite) reduce weight but consider protection trade-offs. • Progressive physical conditioning and pack-familiarization reduce injury risk. • Consider modular loadouts: swap ruck for lighter daypack, cache bulk supplies with vehicle. • Record exact per-item weights for your unit/equipment set and update this baseline.

⸻

ADDITIONAL OPTIONS (if you want more, I will produce immediately)

• Recompute with different ammo loads (e.g., SAW 400 rds) • Swap plate weights (lighter ceramic vs heavy steel) • Produce CSV table per-item for spreadsheet import • Vehicle-crew variant (lighter ruck, heavier comms) • Produce a short Nostr-ready thread split into tweet-sized notes

If you want any of those, tell me which one and I’ll append it below in TXT format.
