i read god is not disappointed in you and really enjoyed it. the stories of school and work resonated strongly. my path is similar in a lot of ways. ill be reflecting on this. one memory that immediately surfaced was that boss that gave me a chance. i came in at the bottom. about a year in, i did some sloppy work that ended up having to be redone. my boss did it personally, in front of me, and let me have it. i learned on that day that if you’re going to do something, you do it right. from that day forward i don’t cut corners and i take pride in my work. i later learned this is called integrity.
