Weekly Updates
- NIP-25 (Reactions) integration: Yakihonne users now can upvote and downvote content;
- Adding stats to the article preview: zaps, comments, and reactions counters;
- Comments section has been fully re-implemented for an enhanced user interaction, in addition comments can be deleted now;
- Adding Zaps stats for users profiles: Zaps sent, Zaps received;
- Re-adjust the “login with an extension” button: now it is grayed out rather than invisible.
- Weekly bugs fixing:
- Users can’t zap themselves;
- Search list showing up below the profile picture when an article is opened;
- Hide scroll bars from scrollable content;
- Fixing the sign up screen showing up after 20min even if the user is logged in;
- Adjust users searching results to the NIP-21 URI scheme.

1) Hack-Nostr-On Round 2
The hack-nostr-on round2 continues. With an incredible lineup of judges @gsovereignty @pablof7z @distriggs from Round 1, we're thrilled to welcome creator of Nostr @fiatjaf to join them in Round 2. 2) Publish Your Long-form Content on Nostr and Earn 17,500,000 SATs
A long-term Nostr Creation Grant, with a 17,500,000 SATs funding pool. Over 300 posts get zapped.
Round 2 had ended successfully! Round 3 is now underway! It started on July 22nd and will run until August 5th.
YakiHonne Creation Zap Grant continues! Round 2 had concluded. During Round 2, #Nostr's long-form ecology continued to thrive, and more creators posted long-form content compared to Round 1. The variety of content expanded to include opinions, insights, travel notes, study notes, feedback, health tips, comics, and even oil paintings. Additionally, posts in Persian and Thai languages became part of the ecosystem. The boom of the ecosystem is thanks to all the creators, and their support is greatly appreciated!
The growth in content is closely related to the design philosophy of the Nostr protocol. Nostr provides creators with ample freedom, which extends not only to express their viewpoints but also to financial freedom. The Zap feature is further proving this fact.
