Nowhere PWA has been updated to add a "saved sites" option. You can now save a site or forum you want to easily have access to again.

The PWA should update in the background when you use it and then the update should be visible the next time you open it after that.

When you sign a post on a Nowhere forum your signing app does not see the plain text content of the message it is signing.

This is because forum posts and replies are encrypted with a shared forum key before being sent to the signer.

This was done to prevent forum posts or replies from being rebroadcast somewhere else outside of the forum context.

Nowhere has been updated to add bunker and nostr signing app support.

So much easier now on mobile.

Instantly creating a private forum link that can be shared with anyone who can sign in by scanning a QR code on their phone truly feels like magic!

Testing out various nostr signing methods and found Bunker46. Looks very clean and works well (for my 10second test at least)

Maybe when iPhone users try to sign in I can just have a picture of Tim laughing at them.

More signing options coming soon™

Nostr relays are public. Your posts on a Nowhere forum are not.

I have released the Nowhere forum avatars as a standalone repo.

Add fun faces to your app deterministly created from each users npub or any text string.

Play with the live demo here https://avatars.5t34k.com and find the code at https://github.com/5t34k/nowhere-avatars .

I have created a simple demonstration site to show how the fragments store you site data in a way that is easy to see and understand.

The demo let's you create a simple link with text in the URL fragment however unlike with a real nowhere link this one is not compressed at all so you can clearly see your text in the final URL.
