I'm ready for a nap and it's around the time our son naps, so I brought him for a nap. He placated me for a moment, but then basically went, "yeah, you have fun with that, I'm gonna go play now." 🙄🤣👶

Apparently according to my dream, it's raining so hard that the glass roof of the building I was in caves in and the room got filled with so much water that everyone got swept up in it and the water war turning in the whole huge room, and then there were little swirls big enough to spin 4 people in each swirl, with a little gap of calm in between so one could take a break from the spinning.

I'm glad it's not actually raining quite that much! But it still sure sounds like cats and dogs!

Does anyone elses 1 year old grab your hand and use it as their own extension because either they can't reach, or they've been told No, but you're allowed to interact with the thing they want?

I fed my son oatmeal, and then heated up a slice of pizza for myself... correction, and then heated up a slice of pizza to share with my son! 🤣🤣🤣🙄🤣👶

I was sitting on the floor and our son came over and crawled into my lap, a few times! The last time was cause I made him some oatmeal and I was holding it and he came and sat in my lap and ate it! It's so interesting noticing how much my love tanks get filled when he does that! Oh, and the other day while he was sleeping in his carseat in the car and I was laying down next to him while waiting for hubby, our son put his hand on my foot and I melted! I'm not sure if he knew was he was doing, but I'm pretty sure I didn't move until he moved his hand a while later! 🥰🤗👶

I don't like the idea of taking or expecting my kids to fill my love tanks, getting those filled is my responsibility, but when it happens naturally, I cherish it! 🥰

I am so excited about being home! We've barely been here all month and I have missed it. It's also interesting watching how our son is so different than last time we were home. He seems to understand so much more now, and I can ask him to do things, or not do things, and he'll adjust. He still doesn't speak English, but he clearly understands! He's changing from baby to toddler really fast! 😱😬

Our son already has a "middle name", you know, one of those with "-" that only really cool or known people get. It's "So Cute", his name is John, "So Cute", Johnson 🤣🤣🤣

I'm pretty sure I look more pregnant this time around than I did with my son at the same weeks pregnant. One reason might be cause with my son I started off the heaviest I'd ever gotten just before, and then a couple of weeks after I found out I was the lightest I'd been since my early 20s! I've stayed pretty slim since then so I think that might be part of why my belly is more visible this time around! Then there's the fact that my belly now already knows what's about to happen so it's not trying to resist it as much 🤣🤣🤣

Truth! I now have my One 😎 But before I said "I do", it could have been someone else. I'm really happy I got THIS one! 🥰

If you want exercise, don't go to the gym, just have a toddler who loves walking and take them to public places where you need to chase them around and keep them from getting into everything! Then try holding them while they wiggle to get free. You'll lose weight and grow muscles in no time!

Our son came over and started climbing up, so I picked him up feeling loved! Then he got a hold of his waterbottle and slid down on the other side of me.... 😳 Well, I'm glad he got his need met 🤣🤣🤣

Our son keeps trying to infiltrate groups of customers here at Panera Bread to convince them to get him something too, like "Hi, I'm totally a part of your group, I want something too, get me something, I'm adorable!" 🤣🤣🤣

Being misunderstood my people who have authority over me is one of the most painful things I know. It has happened a few times in my life, and all of those people have tried to derail me or hold me back, while others who know me are chocked and confused and can't make sense of their decisions, and they advocate for me, and those people have all ended up losing out on what they were trying to do because God knows better, and God has made my path straight, or straighted out what they were trying to limit, and I've been on my way, usually showing the miracle of God's hand on my life! I look forward to seeing that in this situation as well, as God is the same, and I'm still being lied about and those lies won't hold me down! Anyone with eyes to see are very confused about this whole situation!

I love our son! He's the best! He had a reciept in one hand and a cup in the other, and then he saw the wall plug for my phone charger and my laptop cord, and instantly upgraded what was in his hands! 🤣🤣🤣

We were driving around and all of a sudden we came across a Buc-ee's?!!?🤯😱🥳 I started wondering if we had somehow translated to Texas or what was going on! I didn't think they had any locations other than Texas and one of the neighboring states! But here one is, in Goodyear, Az! We got gas there for 3.899$/g instead of 4.199$/g like the "cheap" gas was over at Sam's Club! We didn't actually need gas yet, but totally worth it!

Had an interesting conversation with a guy today who asked my husband and me if we could ask only 5 questions to determine if someone was potential spouse material for us, what would we ask.

I mean, I literally wrote a book about "How to Prepare Yourself for Marriage", that covers a lot of his other areas of questions, but it was an interesting thought experiment. 5 years in and we still match! Pew 🤣🤣🤣

I got 2 bagels to share some with our son while we're hanging out at Panera. I had barely finished cutting one in half when my son snatched the bottom half up and put it in his mouth! I thought it was funny, but so did this older couple who was sitting in line with us, but outside! They started laughing as they saw it happen, and my hubby noticed them laughing towards our son. Another older man had previously commented that our son was the entertainment for everyone here. Clearly, he was correct! 🤣🤣

Our son loves getting down and walking up and getting eyecontact with random people at the different tables! He loves people! We all love him!🥰

I made a joke from someone's comment in a dream I had last night! 🤣🤣🤣

I was in a thrift store trying on a maternity winter jacket. The lady working there asked someone else:

"Does winter come from the east or the west?"

I answered: "It comes from the future" 🤣

One of our sons favorite things lately when he's in the car seat is to turn his water bottle upside down and then smashing it against the lock, letting water out! I've found him plenty a times looking like he peed himself but he's wearing a diaper and sometimes the inside of that is still dry, but the outside is wet 🙄🤣🤣👶

"Where's my husband? Wha'ts taking him so long to find me?" spoken from single ladies is why they're still single.

High chairs come with straps to keep the kids from climbing out... they don't work on our! it took him about 3 seconds to stand up despite the straps, and there was some belaboring noises, so I guess they work more like a warning mechanism than an actual way of stopping the standing!🤣😅

So, I didn't get to sleep until around midnight, and then our son was fussy on and off for a while, and then at like 6:35am he decided it was morning and time for ALL OF US to be awake...

We tried to go back to sleep, I gave him crackers to occupy him but they only lasted just long enough for me to start falling asleep before he complained he'd finished it and needed another one. I tried giving him 2 at a time but he ate them faster so not much longer before he complained again 🙄

Eventually we decided to head to a Panera Bread and he slept for a few minutes in the car but woke up as soon as I opened his door.

Now, just before 2pm, I finally managed to rock him to sleep!!!

He's been fine, I'm the one who really has been needing sleep this whole time 😅

I look forward to the day our books make enough income so we don't need to travel to make money. Passive income is definitely the way to go so we can make money while we nap whatever time of day it might be!! 🤣😎

If our son got zapped every time he got a positive interaction from a stranger, he'd have collected a whole Bitcoin by now! 🤣

Our sons new favorite toy is a big red straw from the Jack in the Box milkshake we got last night to celebrate our 5 year anniversery of out first date. Our son didn't get milkshake, but boy did he take a liking to the red straw! It's barely left his hand all day!

It's interesting comparing being pregnant with my son with this pregnancy.

Last one I paid a lot of attention to what was going on inside me, my focus was inward. This time having my son my focus has been a lot more outward.

Comparing the urgent or frequent pee need in the first trimester is also interesting. With my son there was a reason where it was so strong I felt like I peed every 30 minutes, but not much each time. This time around it's been more like a normal frequency, but just a stronger signal when it came on and harder to ignore.

I've had vivid dreams from the beginning which has been a thing for every pregnancy and was part of how I knew I was pregnant this time! I took a test I had leftover from when I found out about my son that was gonna expire the next day but it was a bit early to find out and showed negative, but I knew the test was wrong!

Having now entered the 2nd trimester, something I discovered with my son was that my emotions were closer to the surface and harder to ignore (I tend to shove them away 😅) and I've already noticed that it seems they're more on the surface this time. It's still kinda mild as is my personality, but they're just a bit clearer.

I thought I had a tiny bit if morning sickness/nausea while pregnant with my son, but realized it was something we had at home as I was fine when we left and it got bad when we came home again and then we got rid of that thing and I was fine again, so I'm not sure I really had any of that last time, or this time. I've felt a bit nauseous for a few moments at times, but I've also experienced that while not pregnant, and my husband also mentioned at time feeling it, so I'm gonna say, no morning sickness at all! 💪😎🤣

Even though it's still early, I've started to feel some tension in my lower ab muscles as they're starting to stretch, so using them for normal things, I find myself needing to remind myself to actively relax them after, so I make more loud exhales 😅🤣 I didn't need to do that with my son, but I did feel tension in the same area. Not sure if it's cause they've been used for this purpose just over a year ago, or if it's cause I've discovered a new way of reducing that tension I missed last time around, that's causing the difference in experience 🤔

I'm excited to start feeling the movements, as this time I know what I'm looking for. I know how to detect the difference between baby and gas 🤣

I believe I'm carrying a girl this time, so another thing that will be interesting to see is my cravings. With my son I wanted savory, and found myself looking at something sweet and thinking it looked awful and suspecting a boy as I personally LOVE sweets, and I've heard cravings can lean savory with boys. So, will my sweet tooth go away this time too, or will I keep it? Should know in a few weeks 🤔🤗

Also, one major difference is that while pregnant with my son, especially first trimester, I kept needing to fight off fear whenever I went over a speed bumb since we lost a child before him and we'd been going over a ton of sharp speed bumps that time and I found myself calling them "baby killers" 😬 This time I haven't experienced that fear at all! We live on dirt that gets washed out with every rain so it's quite bumpy at times, but I haven't struggled with that fear at all this time, which has been super nice! I know God's got me and our child and everything will be fine! As long as I let God keep care, charge, control, and Godship over the pregnancy, everything will be fine, and even great! 🤗 I love God!

Our son pulled his sock off and started eating it. I offered him a cracker and he dropped the sock as if it was nothing to him and grabbed the cracker instead! 🤣 He cracks me up 🤣 (pun intended!)

Whencer I get one of these, I feel like I'm interacting with "are you a robot?" Type questions. Why is this on Nostr?

There's a story of someone asking her mom why she cuts the ends off the roast, and she answers, "I'm not sure, that's how my mom did it", so they go to her mom and she answered something similar, so they go to the great grandma and she answers, "Because the oven was too small so I had to cut the ends off so it would fit."

How often do we just do things because it's what we've seen but without really knowing why, or even questioning why?

This is something I like about Nostr, because people here are way more likely to ask "Why".

Today is our 5 year anniversery of our first date! My now husband asked me on a "Skype Coffee Date", and I said Yes! The next day (today 5 years ago) we ended up talking for 7 hours! I was in the north of Sweden, and he was in Montana. Little did we know that 68 days later, we'd get married, and 5 years later we'd have an amazing 13 months old son, and another baby on the way!

Deciding to ponder how and what to ask him for carification on his response to the question "what are your deal breakers" in the singles group we were a part of is what got me the date in the first place! Instead of just asking "are those your deal breakers?" when it seemed like he was mixing "breakers" and "makers" and it wasn't clear if he wanted or didn't want certain things he'd written. Someone else asked the straight question and his answer was just "yes", so I asked "what does an unconventional lifestyle look like to you?" as that was one of the things he'd mentioned. His response and all the information I gathered in the following weeks is what led me to know that we were similar enough, and where we differed, we'd balance, rather than clash, and thus, flying into America and marrying him the next day after only 68 days was the natural progression and the best decision I could make in that situation!

Being married to my husband is amazing, and even though we've gone through some horrendous things in the last few years, I wouldn't have wanted to go through them with anyone else! I'm so glad we've mostly had good times though! I love you!

God is so good!

We want 5 kids, and I was feeling the pressure of getting it done while I still can. I felt really sad when I had my last period cause I somehow hadn't expected it. Then God told me, "you have more time than you think!" And the rush of peace and comfort and "I have more than enough time!" rushed over me. And then God sent our 2nd child!

First He removed the tension I was feeling, and told me I had more time than I felt like I did, but then He also didn't delay! God is so good! 🥰

Yep, it's official. 14 weeks down, 26 to go! When we decided to tell family, we tried calling everyone in my husbands family, and NO ONE picked up! I suspected they might all be together, cause something seemed weird! Then we called my mom and she answered directly! Then while talking to her, everyone started calling my husband back 🤣 We called one of his sisters first and she answered that YES, they were in fact all together, some had left their phones in the car, and others were dealing with ordering and correcting incorrect food orders 🤣 They were all excited, and we apparently got tears from Grandma, and maybe grandpa! They spent some time with our son this summer and absolutely fell in love with him! He is the best! He's gonna be such a great big brother too! 🥰

I just stood in line at the post office for about 30 minutes, starting to need to use the bathroom, to pick up a box of diapers and then we went on the road and stopped for gas so I ran in to use the bathroom where there was another line. 🤣

"It's chilly out there" "Yeah, and the chillies are starting to come inside and touching me! Must be ghost peppers cause it's so hot it feels cold!" 💪🤣🤣🤣🤣

Our son is now seriously on solids!

Hubby made us 2 burritos each when we got home, and our son was still asleep... then they finished getting done and he woke up! I might have gotten about 1.5 burritos, and only cause I shoved the last half in my mouth while feeding him a smaller bite 😅🤣

Then we made more and now he's trying to eat those too! 🤣👶💪

God wants to speak to you more than you want to hear from him. God wants you to hear from him, more than you want to hear from him. So, if you find yourself hearing the lie that it's hard to hear from God, I highly recommend renouncing that lie and believing what God is actually saying, it is easy to hear from Him!

Sitting at a cafe all day, they had a breakfast deal for 4 breakfast sandwiches for $15.99, so I got that one and have portioned them to last the whole day 😎 Way better deal than spending $6.99 on each one! I love finding cheaper ways to stay fed. (not to be confused with Fed, I don't wanna be one of those for anything!)

The natural state is light, not darkness, because we live in Gods universe. Adam and Eve covered up, distanced themselves from God, the Light, and thus darkness entered the world, but it's not for a lack of light, but rather the light being covered up. Jesus, The Light, came into the world and gave light back to EVERYONE (John 1:9) not just those who believe.

Thus, the natural state isn't darkness, but LIGHT!

Our son spotted a little girl about his size and one several years older and walked over to their table. He was checking out the older girls pink sparkling shoes with a plastic diamon on them when the little girl was let down and instantly walked over and started giving him lose hugs. Apparently she loves to give hugs, so she went between hugging our son and her sister, and then a chair once, and then more hugs for our son, I'm pretty sure our son got about 30-50 hugs from her! She's about a year and a half, so only a few months older than our son. He pointed in her face a few times, as is his custom 🤣🤣🤣

There's a lot of ideology that lends itself to pain and suffering.

Hubby got some coffee, and our son kept pointing at it so he gave him some, and now he keeps pointing at it wanting more! 🙄🤣🤣🤣

Only my mom drinks coffee in my family, so her one wish for a son-in-law was for him to drink coffee, and she got it. It seems all her prayers for me to start drinking coffee skipped a generation and went to my son 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Our son is playing outside and found a piece of clay and put it in his mouth! He realized it wasn't great, but laughed as I wiped him. It looked like he'd had chocolate! 🤣🤣🤣👶

Usually he doesn't open his mouth but he let me wipe out his mouth a bit this time which is why I think he didn't really like it 🤣

The little tap tap of baby feet on the floor is one of the most beautiful sounds! 🥰👶

I used to like the slap slap sounds of his hands hitting the floor while he crawled, but it has been upgraded now 😎
