Everyone is in the Nutcracker this year. 🎄 The dance schedule is exhausting.

Repairing my daughter’s beloved Jellycat bunny this afternoon. Poor thing has been living in a sock for two days cause she’s afraid Fluffy will lose her stuffing.

As an aside to everything, I now have some absolutely gorgeous jelly rolls that I do want to keep and make things out of. What does one do with them?

I’ve been going through totes of my mom’s fabric and sorting out which would be good for the kids’ sewing groups at local hospitals and which would be good for adults. Also the yarn!

Heat warning this week, so of course our heat pump goes out (repair people coming today) and the guys installing cable for att manager to damage our provider’s cable, so now we don’t have internet. My husband works from home and we only have streaming.

I have a hot house and four bored kids.

My sister passed away last week from cancer. Our kids are the same ages and I never realized until this week how frequently I would ask her everything.

After 3.5 years, my irises are finally blooming. I don’t even remember what color they’re supposed to be.

School is over for the summer. Now they’re home for 3 months.

I really want to go to the museum mentioned in this video or somehow get my hands on these pattern books. My great grandmother was from a village in this area.

Pet moms on threads are fighting with moms about Mother’s Day and they’ve started to call moms transphobic and compare trans people to fur babies as an explanation for why they’re ’real moms’ and as ‘valid’.

I don’t think they’re realizing they’re admitting they also don’t think trans people are really the gender they claim they are by saying this.
