To Thomas Jefferson and the Founding Fathers, the Declaration of Independence was more than just the birth certificate of a new nation. It was a blueprint for the future.

The document was never meant to be the final destination or the conclusion of human progress, but rather simply one leg in a relay race.

In fact, the Declaration itself was the continuation of a baton passed down through generations, transforming the ideas of Enlightenment thinkers, like John Locke, into the foundation of a new republic.

The Founders proved that when the systems governing human life become outdated and oppressive, it is not only possible to upgrade the architecture- it is our duty.

From the farm to your cup, our specialty-grade Red Bourbon is crafted through a 100% hand-tailored process ->

The journey begins at Marina Cumbre, a farm located at an altitude of 1,350 MASL in El Salvador’s Balsam Mountain Range (Cordillera del Bálsamo). The region’s unique microclimate and rich volcanic soil, combined with the farm’s regenerative, shade-grown agroforestry practices, allow the coffee cherries to develop slowly and naturally while supporting the surrounding ecosystem and maximizing harvest quality. Once perfectly ripened, the bright red coffee cherries are hand-picked and processed using the washed method before being slowly sun-dried on raised African beds. In the coffee business there’s a lot of pressure to be the first ones awake and ready to go. There’s no warmup time, you’ve gotta be fully dialed in, first thing in the morning, and ready to serve your best stuff! But for me, that’s actually the easy part- I can get the adrenaline going and perform when I need to.

Where I actually feel the most responsibility is when I go to non-Bitcoin events, like the one I did last weekend. Just the regular, in-town, local markets. We put up all of our flashy Bitcoin signs and we just kinda wait…. scanning the crowd, hoping someone bites. We want people to ask us questions about Bitcoin and we’re looking for anyone that’s showing potential interest. But most notably, what we’re really looking for are people to orange-pill. We want our stand to be somebody’s first introduction to bitcoin ever.

Now that’s a special and unique kind of pressure….

One wrong move or overstep on our part and we can overwhelm them. Staining their first impression of what Bitcoin is and represents. But also an opportunity to truly do something meaningful. If we do a good job, we potentially plant a seed that might genuinely change the trajectory of their life. If someone walks away from our stand curious enough to go home and start reading, watching, and researching further- thats a huge W. If we do a good job answering their questions and manage to show them that Bitcoin isn’t an exclusive club for tech gurus, but something open to anyone and everyone, we’ve won.

Orange-pilling is a serious responsibility, with serious consequences, that we are happy and honored to take on.

We do this because I think we’re really good at it. I think we represent Bitcoin well. Don’t overwhelm anyone, don’t over-complicate things, just meet them where they’re at and casually chat Bitcoin over a cup of coffee. All while carefully planting the right seeds in their mind. They’ll take the rest and run with it.

Finally got my hands on some ‘Bean of Fire’- (Bukele’s Coffee) ☕️

Pacamara coffee is truly one of El Salvador’s best and most iconic varieties. Today, we’d like to highlight our Pacamara Natural, and remind you that we are in stock and ready to ship promptly to your door- anywhere in the USA! 🇺🇸 ☕️

Grown and handpicked at the Marina Cumbre Farm in El Salvador’s Balsam Mountain Range, these beans utilized the natural process. This essentially means that the coffee cherries were dried with the beans still inside, then everything was removed at once. The views in El Salvador never get old…

It’s the regular, in-town, local farmer’s markets that might be the most rewarding out of all the experiences we’ve had with Satoshi’s Sip.

These are not Bitcoin events. We just go out into the wild, hang up our big orange Bitcoin signs and El Salvador flags with a goal to orange-pill, have conversations, and of course, serve some delicious coffee.

We have realized through our time doing this that the public perception of Bitcoin is fascinating. The vast majority of people are incredibly confused about Bitcoin- they’ve “heard” of it, but have not yet explored it enough to act on it in any meaningful way. It’s also a pretty safe guess that the vast majority of people we encountered didn’t own any SATS…

Despite knowing this, we still display these “50% off if you pay in SATS” signs.

It’s rare. But, I’m proud to say that every once in a while, we will find someone that holds BTC, but has never actually spent it. A fish on the line.

For those who haven’t yet tried to orange-pill others, I completely get it. It’s the path of least resistance. But understand, it’s one thing to be a Bitcoiner, it’s another to go out and actually try to be an active part of its adoption. It’s incredibly rewarding to onboard others.

The dream for Satoshi’s Sip is to one day become a leading venue for people to make their FIRST EVER Bitcoin transactions. We believe that the more people who have Bitcoin and who are actively participating in the circular economy, the faster the world moves towards Satoshi’s vision!

Everyone knows the price of coffee has absolutely skyrocketed. Arabica beans, for example, are at an all time high.

Despite this, I’m here to say that Satoshi’s Sip has never received one formal complaint about the price of our Bitcoin Coffee.
