2 years ago, we had already implemented the ability to access Nostr apps and perform NIP-07 login through the built-in browser. Now, we’ve reopened this feature and added a NApps section on the Discover page, which gathers all web clients from https://nostrapps.com, including excellent Nostr web apps like Jumble, Shotstr, Chachi, Coracle, Lumilumi, and more.

In Nostr DM, many people use a public note to confirm whether a message was received — which can be quite annoying.

In 0xchat v1.5.0, we’ve added NIP-17 DM send status, allowing you to see whether your message has been successfully delivered to the recipient’s DM relay. In the future, we may also add NIP-17 DM receive(seen) status support.

You can now long-press a message and select “Info” to open the Message Info page:

In the new 0xchat v1.5.0, Tor is built-in using rust-arti and works across platforms.

You can now go to Me → Privacy and Security to choose whether to enable the Tor network:

1. When disabled (default): connections to .onion addresses will automatically use the Tor network.
2. When enabled: all network requests will be routed through the Tor network.

#0xchat v1.5.0.95 released, this update fixes several issues:

• Fixed an issue where the Me tab would not display properly.
• Fixed a flickering issue during Amber login.
• Fixed several potential issues that could affect UI performance.

#0xchat v1.5.0 is out — now available on TestFlight and @zapstore !

1. Built-in Tor SDK with support for accessing onion relays and Cashu mints.
2. NIP-17 DM messages now include a message delivery status view.
3. Redesigned Discover tab — introducing NApps, with NIP-07 authorization for easy access to Nostr web apps.
4. NIP-28 Channels are back — you can now create and search for channels again.

The vision for 0xchat is now crystal clear: feature-rich and full of fun — NIP-17 DMs & groups, NIP-28 channels, NIP-29 groups, audio & video calls, moments, NApps, and Cashu wallets.

Nothing can stop the progress! 🚀
