WaifuGPT now runs as a standalone desktop application without needing a separate browser window or manually managed server.

WaifuGPT is an inspiration and tag-building tool for AI artists. I use it to browse anime characters and artwork, inspect full tag sets, collect references, build reusable prompt tags, and organize images before moving a project into Stable Diffusion.

WaifuGPT supports AniList, Safebooru, Zerochan, and Danbooru, with search, random and filtered rolls, same-character rerolls, favorites, temporary collections, custom tags, blacklists, rating filters, and full-resolution image exports in one interface.

WaifuGPT is a minimalistic inspiration tool for AI art reference gathering and tag set building. The main use case is for browsing through characters, checking the full tag set, and sorting through characters quickly without dealing with a cluttered layout. It uses AniList for structured character and show data, and boorus for image sourcing, so you can move between character discovery and prompt-relevant tag collection in one place before moving the project over to Stable Diffusion.
