Is anyone vibecoding a Nostr native app for the upcoming World Cup? #asknostr

Doing some research on Bitcoin scams from the past and this article from our beloved Vitalik Buterin popped up.

Any chance there could be an option to enable autoplaying of mp4 media on Ditto?

After completing the curation of my high quality gif collection, I don't know how else to get a wider adoption of this to fascinate a better quality gif posting content, other than to bribe some devs to implement a "gif button" via an API endpoint that I exposed just for that purpose. I immediately thought of

(pls Wisp, make it happen) and

as they come across as GIF connoisseurs.

⭕ and YOLOBASE™ are very much interested in backing this and raising a bounty for the implementation based on the source.

For example: https://gifs.pituf.in/api/mp4s/🖕, returns

It can also receive semantic word based descriptions: https://gifs.pituf.in/api/mp4s/laughing

About a year ago I decided to curate a collection of about 20,000 high quality gifs/mp4s from a popular subreddit and make it publicly and easily accessible. I filtered out all the reddit specific meta gifs. Today marks the last day of that curation process. I selected around 7,000 out 20,000 and made them available on my site

My hope was to "tag" them with emojis for a quick reaction description. I deployed a bot that posts random mp4s and invites Nostr to participate in a weekly competition event to tag the videos with emoji reactions and earn sats in the process. See

.

Ideally, I would love to see it being used more and the pipe dream is to see it as a source for a "gif button" in some Nostr client. But alas, that's never going to happen, unless I fork some project and add that as a feature myself. But I am hopeful one day Nostr gets a gif button with configurable sources to pull content from.

Karpathy's post went viral on how he uses LLMs for learning and this is a follow-up of that previous conversation. I think I saw

post the initial discovery that caught my attention. I realized that more than anything I love learning. Gotta build that second brain.

if you are not putting the effort in for tagging the videos, please just don't do it.
