Just finished rereading "Eden" by Stanislaw Lem which I had read previously when I was a schoolboy. It's stunning how this old school sci-fi which seemed absolutely not of this Earth back then, now precisely describes modern democracy where anonymous tyrants rule the society of purposely made retards by intricately directing the information flows. One of the best dystopian books ever, sadly underrated. #books #scifi
"Obsession". This one was just goofy. Totally idiotic with hopelessly bad acting, don't waste your time. #movies #movies
Watched "The Empty Man" today. There are few films that I could recommend without reservation, and it's definitely one of them. Contemporary horror at its best while sometimes it looks pretty old school, even giallo-like. Despite the long running time, it's pretty tense and you feel completely hooked. It's so well made that you even easily forgive some plot holes (or maybe I just couldn't get few things?) Long story short it's really fucking good, highly recommend #movies #horror

Just've watched Hokum. Tense, and entertaining, but really befits its name, a hokum it is. 3 out of 5. #movies #horror
Some simple signs of what you're reading is LLM slop. Rather useful.

"After all, we are being told that we have reached the end of the Age of Reading. We have entered the post-literate society. We no longer read books, wrestle with ideas, or contemplate the great works of the ages. Instead, we engage in the infinite scroll. We read tweets and browse reels and view TikToks. We chase the ever-diminishing high of the evanescent dopamine rush as we get further and further away from what it means to be human."
