Some Bitcoin miners are not just saving on electricity costs, they are actually getting paid to take it.

Susie Violet Ward breaks down how flexible load mining reduces grid wear and tear, cuts curtailment waste, and why ERCOT stands as one of the best real-world examples of this working today.

The energy Bitcoin mining uses was already going to waste.

Christine Marie Turner @abundantmines explains why electricity works like fresh milk: if it is not used the moment it is produced, it is gone forever, and Bitcoin mining gives that wasted energy a productive use.

Africa has the renewable energy. What it lacks is the political will to use it.

Janet Maingi @nduku_maingi makes the case that Bitcoin mining could solve energy poverty across Africa overnight, turning untapped hydro and solar capacity into light, opportunity, and economic freedom.
