🧩 A new step in the integration between #ProtonPass and #protonmail

You can now easily create hide-my-email aliases, label them, or find recently used ones within the Proton Mail web app: https://proton.me/blog/hide-my-email-aliases

⏩ To access advanced alias settings in Proton Pass, use the "All aliases" button.

Do you associate signup screens with an inbox full of unsolicited emails, too?

#ProtonPass gives you the tool to hide your real email address from web services you sign up for, and easily block emails from them if they turn out to be spammy: https://proton.me/pass/aliases

We're upgrading our free plan.

Instead of sharing 1 GB between files and email, you'll now have:

5 GB for #ProtonDrive 1 GB for #pProtonMail

Do you know gail.com?

In '96, a woman named Gail got this as a birthday gift from her husband. Now, Gail's website is buzzing with traffic due to people misspelling #gmail.

Ironically, Gail is a proud #ProtonMail user. 💀

Here's why: https://proton.me/mail/proton-mail-vs-gmail

Privacy-washing is like fast-fashion's greenwashing: deceptive.

Big tech giants like Microsoft, Apple, and Google are increasingly trying to appear as if they are defending your privacy.

But their actions tell a different story:

There's a difference between proactively violating user privacy and following court orders in criminal cases.

All companies (Proton included) have to follow court orders, but it has been proven multiple times in court that Proton's encryption cannot be bypassed. Proton however can't provide anonymity unless the user has proper infosec (like using Tor or VPN).

We thought Google hit rock bottom with #privacy.

Its new beta feature on Google Files for #Android called “Smart Search" is the trap door.

This creepy new feature on by default & scans every file on your phone. Why is this bad? Because it could potentially ruin your life. (1/3)

Proton and the
