“Privacy is for criminals” is a psyop

Privacy is the best first line of defense you can have to protect yourself from criminals.

An exposed target is an easy target.

Politicians just want to get rid of privacy so they can rob you themselves.

Most Bitcoiners are just crazy paranoids, but only the paranoids survive

BREAKING: Bitcoin crashes to levels unseen since

Working on something you truly care about is a life changer

The best thing a government can do to help it’s economy is to not try to help it

The money in your bank account isn’t truly yours. The cash you physically hold isn’t truly yours either.

The Bitcoin you have on an exchange or an ETF isn’t truly yours. But the Bitcoin you hold yourself is your money.

Gold was the native money of the physical world

Bitcoin is the native money of the digital world

Huge if true 🔥

Buying memecoins is no different than casino gambling

Central banks are just the shitcoin scammers of the legacy financial system

Real footage from the ball last night

You know I used to really hate the government but ever since they started supporting Bitcoin and crypto I still fucking hate them

Honestly fuck Elon’s fiat kyc payouts

Zaps are the best

The experience of Bitcoin self custody today looks nothing like what it was 10 years ago.

And it will look nothing like what it is today in 10 years.

We’re living in exciting times!

Protecting your Bitcoin has no absolute solutions, it’s always a scale between simplicity and security and different solutions meet different needs on that scale.

Find the right one that works for you, and slowly move up the scale towards higher security.

Technical standards in Bitcoin are just so broken

We start off with a great well specified standard, then everyone has to make a tiny little tweak which just break compatibility with everyone else

Regulators will eventually come after all stablecoins until they are as regulated as normal bank accounts

Only Bitcoin can resist this pressure

Setting up a Bitcoin multisig wallet is already so much easier than opening a bank account

Excited to share what I’ve been building recently! 🛠️

I’ve been working with the @bitcoinKeeper_ team to build the new Keeper Desktop app, making connecting your hardware wallets with Keeper’s new version better than ever!

You can check it out here👇

Balance has been restored to the universe at last

The biggest challenge of getting people to self custody is not in the user experience, the tech, or the quality of wallets.

The biggest challenge is making people take responsibility for themselves instead of looking to shift it to a trusted 3rd party.

we’re so back!

Running your own Bitcoin full node is not so hard as people think. It’s really just downloading an app on your computer.

Run a full node Use hardware wallets Make a multisig Be happy

make it stop

Just made my first ever PR to a Rust library wish me luck

Twitter is down

Nostr is never down

I heard nostr is where all the cool kids are these days, who’s here?

Politics shouldn’t be such an important part of daily life.

People shouldn’t be asking if the government should do this or that, they should ask why the hell is the government getting involved in the first place.

No presidential candidate truly supports #Bitcoin , and even if one does, he won’t do or change anything favorably. At most he won’t worsen things too much.

The goal of the government is not to kill #Bitcoin

It is to hollow it from any of its freedom, privacy, and censorship resistance properties and leave it as “rare digital tokens”

Is there an iOS/ web Nostr client allowing easy management of multiple accounts?

Twitter feels completely unusable these days. Who’s around here?
