are we having fun yet?

sup, nostr fam?

had a good week out there

truth

should we tell her?

💡 openai should move to nostr

I've been playing around with taking funny tweets and using AI to turn them into videos

wdyt?

what would you look like if you were a dog?

I built Dog AI to help us all figure it out

be like Alex

you can literally just ignore things

does this look like the right way to attach a reply to a note in nostr? somehow not working, but looks consistent with NIP-10 afaict

thanks for hosting,

the AndOtherStuff section on AI shows where nostr differentiates in meaningful ways

anyone know how holepunch/keet store messages (or generally any data) for p2p async messaging on iOS?

I did a little grokking to try to understand better, but it seems to think there might be a supernode or relay concept like nostr

paid a visit to

yesterday

(big inspiration for

)

has there been any discussion about a way to do application-specific follower/friend relationships on nostr?

should I vibe code a farming game with a bitcoin theme? 🤔

from where I vibe today

vibe coding a simple nostr web app using cursor

(this video is a birthday gift I made for

🎂🎉)

if I want to post a video to nostr what’s the best/latest way to do that? nostr.build good for large videos

in nostr there is no global

in bitcoin there is global

I told my wife yesterday that all I feel like doing is building things

my controversial view:

bitcoin only wins when it serves use-cases you have to pay in bitcoin

not use-cases where you want to pay in bitcoin

got similar working with windsurf this morning using Gemini Pro 2.5 as the underlying LLM

it failed in a few different ways, but debugging was quite easy. mostly involved copy/pasting console logs from the browser

I made a simple snake game with an AI opponent. I tried to add bitcoin payments, but the Gemini Canvas doesn’t have a backend. Cursor (and Windsurf) can use Gemini 2.5 Pro, but at least in Cursor this appears to be rate limited and continually failed when I tried today.

maybe tomorrow?

I just vibe coded this little game… anyone remember subspace? you can play a little prototype I made with an AI opponent (intentionally moderately skilled so it doesn’t totally crush your spirit 😅)

I want to make this lightning powered. maybe tomorrow if things go well?

I successfully “vibe coded” my first nostr app

it’s a very simple app, but it works end to end doing the following:

1. create a new identity (npub/nsec)
2. accept a custom message from the user of the app
3. connect to a dozen or more relays (and show connection status/logging for debugging)
4. sign the message input into the app and publish it to all relays it successfully connects to

the newly created identity and message I wrote with the app is the original note shown below

if I create a new nostr account and sign and publish a new message out to several well-known relays (e.g., relay.damus.io and others) how long would I expect it to take to be able to find with the search feature of Coracle or Iris?

is there a better tool to use to very quickly find messages from newly created accounts that might not be “warmed up” with many relays/apps yet?

anyone successfully vibe code nostr relay connections with Replit Agent V2?

it kinda looks like it’s doing the right thing, but it has not been able to successfully make connections. I’ve reprompted it several times, but haven’t gotten it to work yet. if you’ve done this I’d love to hear the prompts that work for you or other hints I might give it to connect properly

we are all “actual artists” regardless of the tools we choose to use

let’s go! 🚀

who wants to “vibe code” an app for that? i’m getting signing/publishing working with Replit Agent V2. might be close
