A majority of zoomer women view pregnancy as something that just happens to women, and does so in a way that impedes upon their individuality and their "rightful place" as the center of attention. This is why divorce rates are high (lower than boomers but still high overall), this is why L&D nurses in most major cities act like tinpot tyrants to any couple to the right of Stalin. To them children and pregnancy are an undo burden placed upon women by "the patriarchy".
In reality, at least when it comes to sane, well adjusted women (they exist, I'm dating one) the bottom panel would be the ideal as she would also be fawning over the newborn. But in the mind of a 5th wave feminist turbofoid that is unacceptable. This is why Lindsey Clancy is so appealing to these women, because she provides a way out back to the center of attention that they so desperately crave.
