Maybe DOGE should just delete it all, shut down the databases, and fire everyone responsible for analyzing and maintaining the data. I bet that’d save a lot of money.
They won’t, of course, since it’s mostly for show. DOGE deleting the data is about as likely as the NYT still caring that the government has all this data after their preferred politicians are in charge again.

It’s not about saving the environment. Only one of the animals mentioned gives people more food independence, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that the people who want to crush every bit of independence out of everyone’s lives are against that animal and no others.
