"On this path, piercing through rocks in search of exotic gemstones, subterranean civilizations and underwater forests, 'Algol' emerged as the most intense, complex, and unique discovery—like a color never seen before, a sci-fi Bradbury-Heinlein-like landscape that, despite being so distant and alien, felt like the closest thing to ourselves.

They say Algol is the worst star in the entire cosmos... but no, everything happens in another dimension. Perhaps it’s more about liberation: who can imagine where planetary impulses take us and the consequences of their waves' movements?

“Did you cut your lines?” the inhabitants of the stars ask us...

...or are we ourselves the strangers in the strangest of lands?"

We are thrilled to be on #nostr, which stands for most of what we think about underground #music in terms of liberty.

We've been tired of being censored for putting words as such as "liberty" and "authority" together on the same phrase, and for thinking about the #underground #art as what it essentially stands for: the opposite of (and counterpoint to) the industrial and mainstream kidnapping of the human culture. So that we are really amazed to be on a land where freedom is the solid stone upon where its foundations stand.

We are Escarlatina Obsessiva, an underground Brazilian band active since 2006. We already put out 7 albuns, and we are currently working on a "best of" compilation, with new versions and re-recordings, and on our 8th album with unreleased songs. In fact, we already released 3 songs from this new album, which are available on Spotify rn: "Merry Go Round" (a version of Bachs's WTC Prelude N.1 with electric guitar and bass), "Strong Orpheus" and "Mothman".

And we also produce some videos about our off-grid life here in São Thomé das Letras, a small village in Brazil where we live, so we're also linking our
