Trying to replace Slack and GitHub at the same time is megalomaniacal. Companies buy compliance and integrations, not βself-sovereignβ solutions. And Dorseyβs track record is well-known: he launched and abandoned Bluesky, scrapped Web5, and funded Nostr for years without gaining traction. Buzz smells like an attempt to retroactively create a raison dβΓͺtre for his favorite protocol. Buzz is the first Nostr application that fits the protocol. Machines donβt need network effects, donβt need friends, and donβt lose keys. Maybe Nostr was never meant for humansβit was just waiting years for the agents. Buzz will probably die too; the idea behind it will be stolen.
