Process video

In the process of recreating Ruben's "Massacre of the Innocents"

The painting is a stark commentary on the brutality and cruelty of political power, emphasizing the innocence lost in the face of such violence. It also reflects the Baroque era's focus on heightened emotion and dramatic realism. In addition to its religious significance, Rubens’ portrayal of the Massacre of the Innocents is also seen as a metaphor for the tragic consequences of tyrannical rule and the innocence destroyed by unchecked power.

Maybe it's relevant?
