Nonetheless, an important point that the panelists bring up is that forced adoption is negative adoption.

Meaning that usually when you approach someone about bitcoin they are somewhat neutral on it. That’s because they haven’t really had any experience with Bitcoin yet. This your job to Orange Pill them is as difficult (or easy) as we know it to be.

But if someone was forced to adopted Bitcoin, or mindlessly thrust into adopting it, and then they have a negative experience, now they are against it, and they have lived experiences to back it up. Thus, if you try to orangepill them at that point, you have to walk them all the way back to neutral by denying their lived experiences, and then do the usual orange pilling.

If normal orange pilling is like climbing a slope, this is like trying to climb a cliff, without gear.

Thus, I actually fesr those people that go like crazy installing hundreds of wallets to merchants and then disappearing.

Quality over quantity people. Rather have 21m quality units than an infinte amount of shitty units.

I need help Nostr!

I’m trying to manage two different sets of nostr keys in my laptop, but

’s functionality for adding new accounts has horrible UX.

I’ve also tried Nos2x, but it only works well for one set of keys.

Then

seemed to be the perfect solution, but their Bunker sign in method got stuck at “waiting for authorization” on

despite already having authorized.

How do you all manage more than one set of keys in a private manner?

This is the type of things that make the internet and cryptography awesome!

This note will now never be lost, and any historian in 1.000 years can go back to it and be sure that this happened.

What’s the latest thing in nostr?

Nowadays people are “character murdered” by the people they follow, a recent example being JD Vance.

In the future, you’ll be judged and character murdered by the relays you follow, especially if Niche Relays exist and are public info for all to view.

Make Nostr too bug too fail!

Is there any Quiz/Forms/Survey type of app using Nostr?

I feel like that could be a killer app and easy to implement.

I envision this:

Nostr based form/survey/quiz app that creates a new Npriv+Npub that creates the quiz/survey. This is published as an event or series of events of some sort.

Then, users get two options:

1. use their own Npub if they wanna be identified with their answers

2. use the Quiz’s Npriv to answer, this all users share the same Priv key and can’t be identified

The question would be on how to make the answers private in case that is necessary. Perhaps encrypting all “answers” with the original Npub so that only the creator of the survey (and owner of the Npriv) can see it?

This does, however, fly in the face of point 2). But hey, nostriches are smart, perhaps the trade off is: private + “KYCd” vs public + anonymous.

I know

showed me a texting app that uses the concept in point 2) to create a private and perfectly anonymous groupchat amongst peers.
