I maybe doing things the hard way, but I was hoping this would be a learning project.

Problem: tracking finances manually is tedious. Also waiting for a statement at the end of the month I tend to forget about. In college i used to be good manually tracking.

I don’t like the idea of third party apps linking to accounts. Now that I’m working with Linux, and Claude is fun. Here’s my self project

Solution: I wanted to make my own tracker where I can take pics of receipts and upload to my own Linux server where it would automatically keep track of what I spend.

Am I doing things the hard way? Any tips? It’s mostly to aid in my learning journey #asknostr #linux

So instead of relying on the coldcard to make a seed phrase, can i have another device make the seed phrase and then recover on a cold card? Then could i add a passphrase and roll dice ontop of that?

Since the only thing wrong with the cold card is the seed generator, but everything else seems to be rock solid #asknostr
