Migrating from Microsoft 365 to Nextcloud Hub doesn't have to be an all-or-nothing approach.

The Austrian Federal Ministry of Economy, Energy and Tourism implemented Nextcloud Hub for secure, on-premises collaboration and let employees continue to use Outlook and Teams for external meetings. Everything still syncs to Nextcloud, thanks to a Microsoft integration implemented by our partner Sendent.

An open platform grows stronger through its ecosystem. 💪

At #MozFest, our partner Conduction put the spotlight on Nextcloud as a platform for business software, powered by independent applications and the communities behind them.

A sustainable ecosystem needs room to build, easy ways to contribute, and opportunities to earn a living from that work.

That’s how community-led technology can thrive.

Nextcloud Developer Meetup Utrecht is a wrap! 🛠️

🥱 Microsoft has announced “digital sovereignty”. Again.

Every time, it’s new terms that mean little when a foreign government can still demand your data or cut off your services.

The stack, licensing, updates and rules stay under Microsoft’s control, not yours. That’s sovereignty-washing.

We go into more detail in our latest article on the topic: 👉 https://nextcloud.com/blog/sovereignty-washing-microsoft-cloud
