💥Damn! This setup is straight🔥

Is Nostube broken? I have uploaded 3 videos in the last two days to flesh out my profile and improve my trust score. I just uploaded another video and when I returned to my profile my vidoes were all gone! What the hell is happening? Is this a common issue? https://blossom.primal.net/f9e5e59fb84d1d8d5bbc0c57d4712b5ccac5e98a98a6bc444464ea3d25b8e2be.png #AskNostr https://blossom.primal.net/8702bdb0685e01e667db52b5ea36a2d3062e4f124b41c3b2a55dcc0bc637526e.png

I hate to say it but this is bloody well done 😯 Scary look at the future we are about to experience ...

Lots of learning while exploring the Nostrverse again, today. I love that my login is seamless across clients! I am still figuring out Nostube, but at least I used it again today and uploaded another video. Its like a quiet YouTube without a recommendation algorithm Then, while I was poking around I discovered this great video that I probably would not have found any other way ... and now I'm learning about

and will have to check that out as well.

Another great read if you are new to Nostr 🙌

Great Article! 💥 So much food for thought. Thank you.🙌

I am still new here, but Nostr keeps blowing my mind. The experience is so different from mainstream social media. I keep discovering new tools and functionality and though some things are cumbersome, for the most part this place is teeming with possibilities and opportunities ... and cool people doing cool things. Most recently I discovered

Not only did he write the brilliant article for

but as it turns out he is also a multifaceted musician and entrepreneur who runs the innovative Basspistol platform.

Setto shares his journey from graphic designer to musician, revealing how his passion for electronic music led him to create a community-driven space for artists, as well as the challenges and rewards involved in promoting independent music through self-hosted and federated platforms like PeerTube.

Emphasizing the importance of community and collaboration, he dives into the concept of digital literacy and the political implications of choosing free and open-source software over mainstream platforms.

Fuck Ed Sheeran and his cowardice and supposed "neutrality". And as always ... Mad respect for Macklemore and Finneas, Lukas Graham, and Aaron Rowe and Beoga, who left the tour due to Macklemore’s removal.

“Artists must not be silenced when they speak up for the oppressed,” Finneas posted on Instagram.

In his own statement, Rowe wrote, “As Irish people we know all too well about genocide, forced famine, and violent occupation. I cannot stand by and allow billionaires to use their position of power to silence the rightful voices of those who speak up against Israeli genocide and the savage murder of children. I would lose all respect for myself to carry on as normal.”

Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow is one of the most underrated bands of all time if you ask me.

The original 1975 recording of "The Temple of the King" features Ritchie Blackmore backed by the entire lineup of the American rock band Elf, with Lead vocals by legendary 🤘 Ronnie James Dio 🤘

My mind was way open to so many new things. One time I was out hunting for obscure metal or grunge in Rocky Street, back when they had a Mardi Gras ... i had explored even my secret gems after a stp at the cofee shop and the comic book store and nothing, so explored further than usual, and on the border of the next neighbourhood ... I discovered a weird hippie looking salvage store with vinyl and tapes. No metal. No grunge ... but weird stuff, A ManOwaR LP amongst others on the wall. Thus it was that this album caught my eye. It was on tape cassete, and I listened and bought it, This song still lives in my head ... rent free.

Celebrating the end of an era, Jourgensen says:

"I'm fucking done. I'm proud of what I've accomplished. I'm amazed at the path that it's taken, from With Sympathy to where we're at today, and all points in between. It's been quite a ride, but I'm completely at peace with the fact that it's done. It's time to herd goats."

" During her interview with the BBC, the musician's phone kept ringing with those wanting to congratulate her.

"Yesterday I received the call of the president of Benin," she said.

"Today I received the call of Chris Blackwell, the founder of Island Records, the producer of Bob Marley, the maker of U2 and so on and so forth."

Kidjo explained how fundamental Blackwell, who signed her in the 1990s, had been to her success - launching her breakthrough album Logozo.

"I said to him at that moment… 'Can I do the music I want to do and keep my cultural identity without anyone imposing any other music on my shoulder?'

He said … 'It's a no brainer.' "
