quick question about the new podcast ids you've been working on and how we can help resolve issues with wrong feed urls in the admin dashboard:

for this example - https://podcastindex.org/podcast/49438

the current feed url is https://feeds.feedburner.com/MacroVoices

but I think it should be https://feed.podbean.com/macrovoices/feed.xml (the one on their website)

this second url points to https://api.podcastindex.org/dashboard?q=5791674 - which is already redirecting back to 49438 - but how can I switch the feed urls - or is that not necessary in this case?

How should OPML Import / Export work for music feeds?

Should we just include all album / artist feeds in the main list with a medium attribute?

Or maybe music feeds should be in a different section?

I've marked it as legit now - any chance you could add some kind of rule to automatically mark Music Side Project feeds as legit based on the generator tag:

Is there any reason that still exists today for RSS feeds to have both the and content:encoded tags at the item level?

From my experience there is never any difference between the content in these tags.

Does anyone know of apps / services that have a specific use case for different content in each tag?

We will be performing some short maintenance on our payment services today between 4pm-5pm UTC.

Do you have a sense of how many music feeds there are without a corresponding artist publisher feed?

I am working on re-doing some of our music indexing logic and excluding music feeds without publisher remote items would make things much simpler.

From my perspective having an album feed without a publisher feed doesn't really make sense but maybe I'm excluding a lot of music?

quick question on the API - this feed displays only 4 episodes - https://podcastindex.org/podcast/310504

But the API returns many more - which I think are old ones that are no longer in the feed.

Is there some hidden 'deleted' field that you have in the database but not returned in the API response - if so would it be possible to add this to the API response? (/episodes/byfeedid)

I'm seeing a 500 server error on the endpoint /api/1.0/episodes/byfeedid?id=352598

It's causing this feed not to load - https://podcastindex.org/podcast/352598

What's odd is that it was working fine earlier, but as soon as a new episode dropped 15 minutes ago the endpoint started returning 500.

I believe this is the also cause of new episode delays users have been reporting for this show. Interesting that it seems to resolve itself after a few hours so not sure if it's some kind of sync bottleneck?
