Here I am sharing my peer to peer bounties over mesh idea with peers in Tallinn.

I bet none of them understood what the heck I was speaking. Peer to peer. Mesh. Nearby. All those buzz words.

This was at Lock In and Build Hackathon, organised by Startup Adventures International last week.

I pushed the app to Zapstore and uploaded the Play build just now, so making this post to explain my project Radius properly this time.

Radius is for small paid jobs near you. You post a job with an amount on it. Phones around you see it over Bluetooth and pass it along to phones further out. Someone nearby claims it, does it, and gets paid. No internet needed.

That is it. That is the whole app. It took me a lot longer to say that in the room.

There is no middle man here. No server, no account, nobody taking a cut, not even me. The payment happens directly between the two of you, outside the app, however you already pay people. I do not touch it. A few people told me this is a bad business. They are probably right.

The code is open so you do not have to trust me: https://github.com/anipy1/radius_cash

The mesh part follows the bitchat protocol architecture. I did not come up with that. bitchat is a peer to peer messaging app, and seeing messages hop between phones over Bluetooth is what made me think a bounty could travel the same way. Radius is not wire compatible with bitchat, so the two apps do not talk to each other. Moving things phone to phone like this is their idea, I just put bounties and cash on top of it.

I cannot see your mesh either. Bluetooth goes from phone to phone and never reaches me.

When there is internet it uses public Nostr relays. Since I am already deep in buzz words, here are a few more:

Open bounties are NIP-99 listings, kind 30402. Public on purpose, because a bounty nobody can find is not a bounty. Title, amount, expiry and a rough area. Your exact location never leaves your phone.

Claiming, accepting, marking done and the witness signatures go inside a NIP-59 gift wrap, encrypted with NIP-44 and sent from a throwaway key. The relay sees nothing useful. Inside that sits a second layer, the same encrypted session used over Bluetooth.

Withdrawing a bounty is a NIP-09 delete.

Still reading? Now you know how that room felt.

But one honest thing is that the app is useless if there's just one phone in the mesh alone. So please share it with people who need help with small things every day.

It is live on Zapstore now: https://zapstore.dev/apps/cash.radius

Google Play does not release a new app until some people test it first. So I need testers. Leave your email here and I will add you to the list, then you can install it from Play normally: https://radius.cash

Same page for iOS and TestFlight. Thanks.

Just now, I asked my little sister to download and try the Skibidi Wallet:

https://github.com/aniketambore/Skibidi-Wallet/releases/tag/v1.0.0

She downloaded it, got to the in-game intro of wallet creation — and got stuck. She did not noted down the mnemonics. Then she paused and asked me: “Why do I have to write down these random words? I just want to move forward.”

She got a bit frustrated, but went ahead — for me, after I told her to write them down as this is part of the game.

After that, without any help, she created an invoice and told me to pay. The receive worked, but the wallet balance update took time.

She stared at me and said: “This is fake. Why isn’t my balance showing?”

The transaction history showed up instantly, but the balance took 1–2 minutes to reflect.

Eventually, I sent her an invoice for 50 sats. She scanned it and paid it.

Then came the next one that hit hard: “Why do I lose money every time I send or receive? Why is there a fee everytime? Who would even use this?”

And finally, the knockout question: “Okay, now what? What can I actually do with this Bitcoin? Can I buy anything in a shop?”

I had no answer.

🚀 Excited to share my latest project: Tiny Satoshi — a 2D RPG game designed to teach Bitcoin self-custody in a fun and interactive way!

Built for the Bitcoin++ Hackathon, this game aims to solve a critical challenge in the Bitcoin ecosystem which is the lack of accessible, beginner-friendly education around self-custody. Many newcomers often default to custodial solutions because self-custody can feel complex — which goes against Bitcoin’s core value of financial sovereignty.

Tiny Satoshi addresses this by turning learning into an engaging adventure with quests, challenges, and hands-on experience.

Developed using Bonfire Engine, Flutter and BDK

AI in the Bitcoin space is here ⚡️

Our team at Bringin worked on a side project where we hacked one of the possibility of an AI agent making real-world payments. In this project we made Claude (AI assistant) buy an eSIM for a user and automatically pay the Bitcoin Lightning invoice for the eSim payment from Bringin.

Buying an eSim in this case is just an example of how services can be integrated into the AI assistants whereas the possibilities are endless.

I see a future where AI becomes so much powerful that top e-commerce platforms shift towards providing services through AI assistants like GPT, Claude, DeepSeek, Kimi, etc. Commerce will happen in the chat. Users just need to tell their assistant what they need, and AI will find, compare, and purchase the best options for them.

Our mission at Bringin is to make their payments simple, secure, and powerful, so users can easily purchase whatever they need.

2025 is going to be the year of AI agents, and we’re moving forward with it! 🚀

A bit of my observation that I would like to share on how things are and has been changing in the space super quickly. so I remember around 5 yrs back there's a noise of web3, blockchain, smart contracts and shitcoins, I started learning about blockchain and got super interested with the idea of decentralization, started learning about solidity, truffle, ganache, and making dapps, but as things progressed and I'm getting to understand the stuff related to DAO hack, rugpull, ethereum rollback, I started questioning it's true decentalized nature. That’s when I went further down the Bitcoin rabbit hole.

Back then, 8 out of 10 posts on the internet were about web3 and crypto, but now the shift is clear, from blockchain hype to AI, earlier when there's the web3 noise became mainstream it became obvious to me that most of it was just a marketing gimmick, a way to push erc-20 tokens and scam people. But AI is different.

AI is actually solving real-world problems across multiple domains. I do use ai in my day to day workflow and the speed boost it brings while working is super insane, That said, I think integrating AI into coding is not really for beginners who’ve just learned syntax and haven’t built real projects. But for those who understand the full development process, AI is a game changer.

The current noise with GenAI, domain specific LLMs, agents for performing real-world tasks is just mind-blowing to me, not like the Web3 hype. This space is changing so rapidly that it's super difficult to keep updated with what's happening , well I do keep an eye on some Youtube channels like fireship dev for getting updates and news related to the space.

At this point of time calling it "noise" doesn’t feel right anymore. AI is here, and it’s making an impact.

Lately, I’ve been thinking about how AI could be brought into the Bitcoin space, not just about having an LLM to answer bitcoin specific queries (we already have Spirit of Satoshi model on huggingface for that), but how ai could benefit user's on understanding more of how bitcoin works while performing those complex actions. Imagine AI simplifying complex Bitcoin actions, removing UI/UX friction, and letting users interact through a simple chat interface instead of dealing with confusing workflows.

Anyways let's stop here for now, thanks for reading this stuff

Hello everyone! I wanted to share a new tutorial I recently wrote on building a simple feed in Nostr using Flutter. In this three-part series, I'll be walking you through the process step-by-step.

In part one, I'll guide you through cloning the starter project, setting up project files, installing Nostr Tools, and creating the Nostr feed screen. Then, we'll dive into connecting to the Nostr relay stream and listening for incoming events.

This tutorial is perfect for those with some knowledge of Flutter and a basic understanding of the Nostr Protocol. So if that sounds like you, be sure to check it out! You can read the full tutorial here: https://makers.bolt.fun/story/nostr-tools-flutter-tutorial-building-a-simple-feed-for-noost-app-part-1--766. I hope you find it helpful and informative!
