I’ve been in contact with my local Police for two significant events in the last month and neither event was attended to by them, or had a report filed against them.

One of those was a full-on fight amongst teens, started 1-1, then a group jumped in with a bunch of coward punches, turning it into 5-on-1, laying into the victim on the ground. Escalated directly in front of me whilst on the phone to the cops and they still weren’t able to get a vehicle there within 20 minutes. Unbelievably, the victim was able to get up and run away after a minute of some very heavy connections, yelling out two full names of the offenders as they went past. The Police response after I called them back to advise the culprits had moved on and offer the name details; “the victim will come in and report it if they wish to pursue it”. I can somewhat appreciate that, but they demonstrated no urgency to assist with an active and serious assault. And it makes you wonder how they keep score of crime figures if this type of shit isn’t recorded 🤷🏽‍♂️

Getting so bored of macro podcasters.. “Warsh”, “Tail end”, “Clarity”, “AI” 😴

something wrong with wallets? Mine is showing 0 atm

Just listened to the outcome of this

... Well, got halfway through 😒

Some pretty shameful and unnecessary language. Regardless how much you ‘don’t give a fuck’, you can still sound like a knobhead. Sensed that might be the last time some are invited back to

Nothing really new from this bunch either, or interesting in terms of discussion

Apple Music must use the same RNG as Coldcard.. every time I shuffle my library it always plays the same 20% of tracks

Just used AI for the first time for a real work task, to remove a watermark from a pdf. Took 2 mins, worked perfect 👌🏻

and #redteam smells a little like govt bailout.. Peking style too

Biggest capitulation of the bear =

I’m ok with being on the losing side. It was a good test and will hopefully lead to a more paced and collaborative discussion on implementing something better🤞🏻

Still feel the smug victors will have their day though. Bitcoin is good at humbling. Getting NVK vibes from some. We all know what happened to him 😬

Even though it failed, it passed as a test

We don’t need professional podcasters and YouTubers.. People can communicate with zero sponsorship, for free, or V4V

Pretty sure the affected would know how to transfer their coins if they already held an advanced device like the coldcard. Lots of patronising ‘help’ getting blasted around

Feel for those who have lost, but find it a bit ironic that their avenue for recover willl be through government enforcement.. or

reimbursing 😏

It’s a message more than a solution

Surprised BIP-110 wasn’t brought up 🤷‍♂️.. Regardless position, seems pretty relevant at this specific time for a Bitcoin podcast.. Apprecite you both none the less ✊🏻

Stay humble, stack sats is simple and solid advice, but it’s not going to attract the next gen

Why do we have Police when they’re not very effective and don’t completely stop crime?

I don’t understand the ‘Bitcoin doesn’t distinguish data’ argument. Data is subjective, right? Wouldn’t that mean less capacity is better? Especially if not needed for critical function

Needed to discharge the EV ⛏️🌽

My dream home has a running freshwater stream on the property

Peaked at 250 years. Downhill from here

Infect up, then mass adopt down, seems the only way

Need a job that doesn’t rely on any other human effort. People are slack

I’m never leaving NOSTR. And I’m never joining any algo social media

4 minutes added time

3 of that for a hydration break (super gae 🙄)

You’re telling me only 1 actual minute for a goal celebration + issuing 3 yellow cards + some medical treatment + some rolling around before deciding not to receive medical treatment + a substitution?

I don’t even care about this particular game itself, but it’s just so fkn arbitrary.

How about calling a foul throw for once too?! Supposed to be the benchmark of the game

For some weird reason, I always feel the urge to friendly bark at dogs hanging out the side of passing cars

Match momentum trackers are the most pointless tool

“End line” “Three - O” “Out of bounds”
