Mr.Crown // Renarchy

Been messing around with a video for the PEPEHASH design. Here's a shot from what I've got so far.

Scene 2 - the pick-up

Still plenty to do, but I'm liking where it's going

Not everything needs your participation. Not every system deserves your trust. Not every decision needs someone else's approval.

Made a little video around that idea.

The artwork is free. What you make of it is up to you. https://blossom.yakihonne.com/188bda63bd256ba13638ef06b7b1864f68d980c9a74d97e5203493d3369649bb.mp4

We've reached a point where protecting your privacy requires actual effort, technical knowledge and sometimes money.

Meanwhile, giving it away is the default.

Something about that feels completely backwards.

GM, just a reminder... Participation Is Optional https://blossom.yakihonne.com/277cbce93c1e309ac764cf7932e1ed53a69fab06bd3697d9f0404e8fe0e65b8d.jpeg https://blossom.yakihonne.com/8792883470a189365f7c97a45f5b6cd680b20519b89f6e54c0271fd3fb64b6ef.jpeg

Odido got hacked earlier this year. Personal data belonging to 6.39 million people compromised.

Meanwhile, I'm over here refusing to give some random website my real name just to download a fucking PDF. 😂

And somehow I'm the paranoid one..

You can follow every instruction, meet every expectation and do everything you're told.

And still end up living a life you never actually chose. https://blossom.yakihonne.com/f2ffb3cdd060ce202b4f030d1b74a5d006cbf6120be5a0b52cd6b617700a7361.jpeg https://blossom.yakihonne.com/5e1279d39ff7da685c12b3ee82977e3136a345f0a9d0dcce382a345f87d57d5f.jpeg

For anyone interested, I’ll also be adding the vector file later today.

The pack includes 17 PNG files in one ZIP: a full graphic and two chest designs in four colors (white, black, green, and red), plus two A2-ready posters and three phone wallpapers.

All garment designs come with transparent backgrounds at 300 PPI. Pick your layout, resize it, and make it your own.

GM! I've really started appreciating those quiet moments before everyone wakes up. Just me, my coffee and absolutely nothing that needs my attention yet.

Imagine waking up tomorrow and discovering there's absolutely no record of you anywhere.

No government records. No digital identity. No databases. Nothing.

You exist, but according to every system, you don't.

Would you try to get your identity back, or enjoy the freedom?

GM! It's easy to get caught up in all the bullsh!t going on in the world and forget to enjoy what's right in front of you.

Hope you find a little time for yourself today. ✌️ https://blossom.yakihonne.com/20538e6bc4681d985864ebdf9cdc7d6fe9d49f4752174a03787e689be90429e2.jpeg

Roam freely. Not just through places.

Through ideas. Through mistakes. Through whatever the fck interests you.

I’m not trying to build a brand that tells you what to think. I’d rather make things that make you stop for a second and question what you stopped questioning years ago.

Somewhere along the way, participation became the default.

Accept the terms. Create the account. Share the data. Join the platform. Verify yourself. Stay connected. Most of it happens without us ever really deciding to take part.

But default is not the same as mandatory.

You can refuse. You can disconnect. You can build your own tools, choose different systems, or simply walk away.

Substr Update : Added NIP-23 post, Onboarding flow and more

One of the biggest improvements is the way navigation and discovery now work. Explore is clearly the place to discover substrs and communities, while Discover is the feed for the latest posts across different substrs.

The onboarding, settings, and signer flow have also become more approachable. New users now first see a simple choice between Create account and Already have an account, before entering the more technical signer flow. That makes the first impression less intimidating, while still preserving the flexibility of local signers and browser extensions like NIP-07.

We’ve also continued expanding the publishing side of Substr. Alongside regular posts, media posts, and discussions, Substr now supports long-form publishing through NIP-23. This opens the door for essays, announcements, deeper guides, and longer updates to live natively inside communities, instead of forcing everything into short feed posts.

A lot of smaller but meaningful improvements have also gone into how content is displayed. Media and rich-text posts now render more consistently, shared Nostr ID posts have been refined visually, mentions are handled better, and link/video previews behave more reliably. Opening a post from a feed into its /p/ page also feels smoother, with less unnecessary loading between the feed and the detail view.

Other updates:

• Home opens with settings now supports Explore, Discover, and My Feed.
• Clicking the logo now follows your selected home preference.
• Discover now uses smarter infinite loading instead of loading too much upfront.
• Explore can surface sections progressively, making the first load feel faster.
• The sidebar now shows a More button once you have joined more than 14 substrs.
• The bottom of the menu now includes a subtle clickable Substr v1.0.0 link to /about.
• Substr Community cards on Explore now have an improved layout with more room for text.
• Join and Joined now have a clearer visual distinction.
• YouTube links now show an instant thumbnail preview in the composer.
• Posts and other signed actions now include ["client", "Substr"] tags where it makes sense.
• Settings now show clear toasts again when saving.
• Reduced motion now actually affects the app.
• Multiple dark/light mode and theme preset issues have been fixed.
• Shared Nostr ID cards have a cleaner layout and more consistent preview behavior.
• Rich-text media now displays more consistently across cards and thread pages.
• Clearing notifications no longer allows old items to return later.
• All images in posts are now clickable for bigger view

BLACKOUT PROTOCOL — ERROR BY DESIGN

When I go offline, when I step back from the feed, I keep meeting versions of myself the world tried to overwrite.

That tension between creation and erasure is where Blackout Protocol lives.

Error by Design is its heartbeat.

It’s the refusal to be polished, the acceptance that mistakes can be more honest than perfection.

This isn’t about clean lines or conformity it’s about memory, rebellion, and signal integrity.

#40hpw No More Martyrs | THE UNBOUNDED SERIES: Colonial

In this episode with Colonial we dive in to digital and physical sovereignty. The key idea: privacy is essential because information is the battlefield, and exposure makes you vulnerable. Using the Samourai case, they show that playing by existing rules doesn’t work. The future belongs to disciplined, anonymous builders who act with intention. The episode ends with practical steps to improve privacy and operational security.

#40hpw Plebchain radio - Prometheus in Bloomsbury with Psyfer

In this episode of Plebchain Radio, Avi sits down with London-based bitcoiner, artist and playwright Psyfer, caretaker of the legendary Cyphermunk House in Bloomsbury. They trace the unlikely origin of the house back to a 10-day Vipassana retreat in rural India, where Psyfer was flooded with images of fiat collapse and Bitcoin art, eventually leading him to turn a four-story Victorian building into a living Bitcoin sanctuary. He describes Cyphermunk as an ever-shifting gallery, bar and salon where sats flow, incense burns, random locals wander in off the street, and culture quietly onboards the curious.

https://fountain.fm/episode/j1EqMSvXTVqCfAo7b9eH

You sometimes hear people say they don’t focus on all the negative things, only on what they can control. But if you do that, eventually you won’t have control over anything anymore.

Pardon Samourai Mobile Wallpaper

What do you see as the greatest invention ever been made?

Sometimes you design for aesthetics. Sometimes you design something because it needs to exist. Seeing it out there in the wild means more than I expected... Really grateful we pulled this of with

. Seeing it spread reminds me how strong this space still can be.

I’m working on adding a long-form (NIP-23) feature to Nostr. What UI/UX tips and ideas should I keep in mind for this? What do you find works well, and what doesn’t for this type of content?

Because Substr is community-first, we don’t pull in every post like most clients do. We only show posts that are actually shared inside a substr.

To support this, I’ve introduced a new “event ID” post type. Under the hood, it’s published as a standard kind :6 repost, so it stays compatible with other clients while fitting naturally into Substr’s structure.

It’s already working, but I’m still fine-tuning the experience. Npubs will be displayed as usernames and link directly to /u/. Links will no longer show as raw URLs, but as compact previews, and video links can be played directly in a modal player.

Next step: you’ll be able to paste not just an event ID, but also a post URL from another client, and Substr will resolve and render it automatically.

The blue tit pair have found refuge in the birdhouse in the garden. I made it three years ago with the kids, and it’s never been occupied until now. Love it 🤩

You deserve a break! ✌️

Grassroots Bitcoin: Where Real Adoption Happens

If you’re into grassroots Bitcoin and how adoption actually plays out in the real world, this one’s worth your time 👇

Episode 006 brings together Reed, Rev, Fundamentals from the Philly Suburbs Meetup, and Andrew from Bitcoin Park in Nashville. My visual tribute as a statement #pardonsamourai

Over the past years, Samourai Wallet played a critical role in protecting financial privacy within Bitcoin. Not through promises or slogans, but by building tools: open-source software that allowed people to control their own money — without surveillance, without permission, without intermediaries.

That work is precisely what led to their arrest.

Not because funds were stolen. Not because users were deceived. But because building effective privacy tools is increasingly treated as a threat to systems that depend on transparency, control, and monitoring.

This artwork is my way of acknowledging that moment

Normally, my work is shared through Value-for-Value: That principle remains — but on this work, one goal takes priority: supporting Samourai!
