Alert to nostr users who have signed into our app, Bitcoin Quest, with NWC:

A vulnerability has been exposed and you should rotate your connection string secret (generate a new NWC URI from your wallet app).

This is precautionary because the secret is visible to whoever operates the relay endpoint in the NWC URI. We do recommend rotating your secret to be on the safe side.

We caught this vulnerability with a Kimi K3 audit of our code and have already patched it so nothing like this will happen again.

We are always doing our best to make sure our app is secure and apologize that this happened. The broader industry is all on high alert right now, for obvious reasons. Make sure that if you are running code that you audit it with multiple frontier models ASAP, especially if you control user funds (which we do not on Bitcoin Quest, FYI).

I work on Bitcoin Quest every single day. Yes, we are in beta, but it's much more extreme than that. We do not yet even have a testing environment or any other devs besides myself. I add new features and patch bugs in real time. There are a handful of active users who send me bug reports consistently (thanks guys!!!). Other than that, it's me just playing with the app all day and fixing things with my agent as I go.

It's quite fun, but we can't scale like this.

This is the breakdown of Bitcoin Quest users worldwide (those who have shared their country, which is optional). We have 600+ users registered overall so far.

The thing our users like the most about our app is being able to earn real bitcoin. Every 1000 XP they earn from learning = 100 sats that can be withdrawn, instantly over Lightning.

The number one complaint we get is that the app is too overwhelming and users don't know where to start. We have tried fixing this issue with recent updates (we created an intro guide, new onboarding process and an FAQ section). I'd love some feedback on all that.

When one comes to this realization, one stops posting to nostr. Hmm....

Prediction markets like @predyx_markets are structurally more fair and honest than traditional gambling (like casino games, lotteries, or most sportsbooks) primarily because they eliminate the built-in house edge, let participants trade peer-to-peer against each other, and produce more accurate, market-driven probabilities. I know some people in real life who think that if you get only 1 wrong that's automatically a 99% score. And we expect these people to understand Bitcoin?

I now totally understand why producers have hundreds of unfinished songs and devs move from one project to the next so often.

It's so addicting creating something new from scratch, but you burn out quickly and the thrill wears off.

I've designed so many cool features on my app. Each one was more fun to build than the last.

But now, 7 weeks from starting, I'm almost bored with the app, if you can believe it haha. The app is in a very stable state right now so it's just a matter of marketing and growing the user base, and this is quite boring to me.

I want to keep creating new things. Building.

I wish I had a team to do the boring stuff for me.

It may not be boring for everyone though. I just need to find the right people who want to be on this mission with me.

My app is already built to scale. It can handle tens of thousands of concurrent users immediately, at no extra cost to me.

The feedback I've gotten has been overwhelmingly positive. I've been pleasantly shocked at the response so far. People I respect, close friends, and absolute strangers are all loving what I've built.

I just need a team now.

My agent builds what I wanted in 30 seconds and waits 3 minutes and 30 seconds for me to come back with my next idea.
