Overnight block 940,073 was mined. This block includes the 20,000,000th bitcoin. Only 1,000,000 to go. True provable scarcity.

Sounds like a good way to keep the population poor….

The lengths that politicians will go to in order to extract value from their constituents (slaves. ..) continually amazes me.

interesting take …

We run the network!!!

I am 100% certain that

and I did not talk about Davos at all. Because we are out building things and talking about Bitcoin instead of worrying about what a group of people who have no interest in you have to say.

Satoshi’s Plebs episode 241 is out by the way!!

Well bottoms in boys. Time for new ATH!! 😂😂

No podcast today. I’m sorry but Mediacom has really dropped the ball and I have been without Internet for four days now. I was told tonight by Mediacom support that it could be up to 10 more days for the needed maintenance to be done.

This is what a lack of competition does - creates regulation backed ineptitude that we have to suffer through.

Don’t understand what’s going on with the world’s economies?

Let me ask you something. If all the previous major innovations that mankind has had ( fire, agriculture, the printing press, Industrial Revolution, the integrated circuit, the internet for example ) have succeeded in making mankind more prosperous and productive and should ( and has ) lead to cheaper and better products and services - then why do the Keynesian economists fear deflation ( ie - my computer now is both cheaper and far more powerful than the Commodore 64 I had in the early 80’s allowing me to be exponentially more productive). Why the fear?

Tug at that thread in the tapestry and see where it goes …

👋 GM Nostr, the 231st episode of Satoshi’s Plebs podcast is out now! Episode 231: Where Do We Go From Here?

In this episode of Satoshi's Plebs, @Kenshin 🥷 & @mcintosh have an honest conversation about the podcast's sustainability and future direction. After over four years of producing content, they discuss the challenges of maintaining a value-for-value podcast and share their plans to improve the show through better audio quality, enhanced content, and potentially bringing in sponsors while maintaining their ethical standards.

The hosts outline their timeline and goals for growth, ask for listener feedback on proposed improvements, and emphasize their commitment to serving the Bitcoin community. They also cover the current Bitcoin price sitting at $106,885 and revisit the discussion about market cycles and potential patterns that may indicate where we are in the current cycle.

Happy White Paper Day to all the Plebs!!!

https://bitcoin.org/bitcoin.pdf

For the clowns in the room who think the Bitcoin network is for dumping your garbage on …

I direct you to the first sentence of the abstract of the white paper …

“Abstract. A purely peer-to-peer version of electronic cash would allow online payments to be sent directly from one party to another without going through a financial institution. “

I can’t believe we have so little response to our zapathon!! What’s going on nostr land ??!?

#zapathon #zap #nostr #

Episode 228 is out and our quarterly #zapathon is in progress!

Heard this today -

We are becoming the have Yachts and have Nots…

That’s not a good thing.

Interesting angle that I don’t recall hearing before…

Sorry life is happening. No podcast this week. We will see you next week!!

The debasement of your money will continue until morale improves -

Bitcoin fixes this

Here is the Proto homepage. Looks very innovative. An example would be the website says to immerse it you just remove the fans. Slick. Open source firmware!!!

I hope they make a hydro model soon.

I have a 30 day goal. I’m not going to post on X during this 30 days. I’m only going to post on Nostr. It has to be at least once a day and one or more of those posts will be original and not just a repost.

Another words, at least one original post a day.

He couldn’t just keep bashing BTC because he was looking so silly. I don’t even like using the word “boomer” but Dave embodies it in the spirit that young people use the word. And technically I think he actually is a boomer by age. I don’t know if has any real concept of what’s going on ( he doesn’t seem to .. ) but he will definitely fade into irrelevance over the next ten years .

Debian 13 scheduled for release August 9th. I would say I can’t wait … but I didn’t wait. I put it on our new backend server for the Satoshi’s Plebs podcast a month ago.

Replace the Fed with a difficulty adjustment

Things Bitcoin doesn’t need:

A CEO A premine A foundation A marketing budget

What does your “crypto” need?

This ….

I have spoken on the podcast fairly recently about my experiences meeting and becoming friends with people who were there at TS in ‘89.

Those not there in those days cannot truly understand the horror that happened.

Freedom technology and freedom money is one of the major reasons I “bitcoin”. Don’t let governments sweep under the rug what happened. Thousands and thousands of people died needless deaths because of a communist tyrant.

This is not going to end up positively for core .. I kinda feel sorry for them that they are so blind..

More diversity for the Bitcoins is always a good thing though. Onward and upward!!

Hear, hear!!!

I’ve been saying this since they came out. Nice tools bit not A.I. Great way to increase productivity but not A.I.

Carry on …

Another words .. get your coins off the centralized exchanges. What a bunch of idiots. I

Interesting.. Elon has more of a backbone than I have him credit for ..

Going live was fun!

1000000%

Pretty sure it’s going to be a crazy week!!!

Stack those sats!!
