Open up any media today, and you will be flooded with information about: -ICE killing people -Inflation exploding -Homelessness -Birth rates plummeting Or anything that will convince you the world is collapsing and you can't do anything about it. I call that the "zero hope" narrative.

Here are a few thoughts on this matter:

Programmed slavery

The youth is purposefully fed this crap to sift their anger into despair. And now you've created potential gambling addicts, spending addicts, etc... After the dust settles, they now are into 50 year loans they can't pay off.

Anything to give more power to the state am I right 😔.

Media control

This can only be possible if the media they are using was hijacked by the state. That's why I love Nostr so much. I can say and read whatever I want. It's our duty to spread the gospel to our relatives and friends.

My mental model

When any information reaches me I now ask myself: -Who said it (and who wanted him to say it) -Why say it (analyze incentives) -Where does it want us to look away from
