Learning and playing tennis during my pregnancy was great for labor and delivery but it was horrible for my game postpartum.

Trying to be patient with myself in order to adjust to this new normal is proving harder than anticipated BUT I gladly accept the challenge!!

The aromatics are insane and the flavor profile complements garlic so well. I can’t explain how delicious my kitchen smells… and the food tastes even better!!

Everyday is a blessing, an opportunity, and a joy wrapped in 24 hours.

I love Nostr and have been here for 3 years however it’s difficult to use now.

First, I felt like my post were annoying people or coming of disingenuous so I stopped posting every morning.

Then, my feed became unusable. Idk if it was all the accounts I followed early on but the bots, the scammers, and tech convos I know nothing about kinda deflated my enthusiasm. It’s as if no matter what I post or hashtag I can’t find any conversation that I’d find interesting.

I’m not on telegram so I’m not apart of any of the women of Nostr groups or other subcultures that can be found here. I don’t like having to keep up with when I need to renew paid subscriptions.

Moving to “Bitcoin country” has caused me to lose a lot of respect for bitcoiners so even that draw isn’t as appealing anymore. Especially when they’re not who they present themselves to be when you meet them in person.

I’ll never turn away from Nostr but my interactions look different. All that I do now is scroll, react, and zap really good stuff otherwise I feel like I don’t belong so I don’t engage anymore. It’s sad because this place was genuinely a source of light for me for so long.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there!! May you feel appreciated, respected, and loved.

Most importantly I send thanks and praise to our creator, our Heavenly Father. The one who in his faithfulness has never forsaken those who believe in him. Whose word is real, promises are true, and love everlasting.

The one who when my earthly father disowned me — saw me, knew my name, and adopted me into his eternal family. Thanks to his sacrifice I’ll never be alone. Hallelujah to the one who saved my life and encourages my peace, faithfulness, joy, and confidence.
