I found some cool rocks yesterday though. Mostly small bits of agate with lots of green rock included that makes them look really pretty blue in the right light. Someday I wanna try tumbling/polishing some of them.

Oops. I forgot I need to eat before dinner because we're picking up groceries before dinner tonight and if I'm hungry I'll buy peanut butter cups.

Husband and I were both literally almost back in the "acceptable to ideal" fitness range... and then he slid down a small cliff and crunched his knee catching himself... and I got smacked in the back of the heel by a heavy door with a loose swing... and now we're like a couple of gimpy old people. :cat_cry:

It's hard to balance the need to be on a strict diet, with my desire to sit down and share meals with my husband.

How it seems to be working out is that on his weekends we'll have a big breakfast or lunch together and I skip the other meals. And on his work days I'll either eat a something early in the day and then have a few bites for dinner with him (so I'm not just watching him eat, lol) - or skip breakfast and lunch and just have all my food for the day at dinner time.

But I CAN'T eat every time my husband eats. That would be a disaster.

I have only ever asked my husband or brother to wash dishes at work and it was when my spine/nervous system was a mess and I was crying over the stand mixer all day and washing dishes meant hauling 30+ pounds of dishes up steep stairs and back down, etc.

I've been building a collection of shoes that I thought fit me for a long time. I thought I was all set for shoes for the foreseeable future.

I went through them today, and in addition to throwing out twelve pairs (my most practical and most worn, all trashed), I'm going to have to get rid of all of these because they're too big. Now that I know I can't unfeel it.

I am literally being holocausted rn
