Here's a timeline cleanse for if like me you're tired of seeing the same conversations on nostr repeated over and over 😊

Some plants in flower in my own garden

#Gardening #GrowNostr

New customer today 🤙 Taking care of all the usual garden work plus growing veg for her.

The best part? I get to take home whatever veg I want, plus she has chickens & bees so eggs & honey on demand!

Little sanctuary of wildlife. Loads of birds, last year she had tawny owls nesting & the occasional kingfisher spotting.

Very blessed.

More snaps from work lately. Keeping busy in winter. Spring may seem close but March is always a false start. Don't jump the gun!

Store your seeds in a more intuitive way.

Use a photo storage box to streamline your seed collection in preparation for the food growing season.

Sarcococca confusa - Winter flowering shrub with a lovely scent and white flowers to attract moths etc for night pollination.

This venue wants to do something big for Bitcoin Pizza Day...would be great to support them with a big turn out 🤔

Preston meetup @ Lupo in Freckleton. Jan 15th, 7pm

There's a couple great health maxxers? (hate that term) on youtube that talk about natural hair health.

They suggest raw egg yolk (no whites) instead of shampoo. Gave it a whirl today and got to say it works magnificently. Applies really well, doesn't smell & leaves a great finish to the point you'd think I used shampoo.

I know it won't be everyone's cup of tea but you get all the benefits of regular shampoo with no harsh chemicals and beneficial nutrients for scalp & hair health 🤷‍♂️

Nature knows best!

(P.s. dont use warm water for obvious reasons 😂)

Gardening has lots of myths that get accepted as fact.

A common one from a customer today, talking about the need to rotate crops. You do not need to rotate crops.

Charles Dowding has trial beds in his market garden where he plants the same thing in the same place every year with no impact on yield. In fact for some crops he has the best yield in say the 8th year in a row!

Soil health is paramount before all else. Once you have that down you can make your own rules! 🌿

Pond maintenance earlier this week. Clearing out pond weed to help the pond breathe a bit better!

Does anyone use Olas anymore? Seemingly hasn't been updated in ages.. Is there another instagram esque client for easy uploading of media?

#Asknostr

Attended Nostrshire at Bitfest today and I figured I should share some more pictures from my work as a self employed gardener.

Doing my bit to give some different content to the nostr timeline!

If you dig this feel free to follow and I'll try to post more regular updates and gardening tips 💜🫡

Nostrshire/Bitfest bound 🤙💜

For our November meetup we return to Lupo on the eve of Bitfest.

Come spend sats at a Bitcoin accepting restaurant ⚡️

The power of the Bitcoin meetup. Last week this venue was onboarded by

Meetup tonight 👌 Couple of our guys are bringing hww's as self custody was a topic that was coming up semi regularly.

This place does the best burgers 🤤

Elderly customer of mine recently bought a reclining chair.

He told me he paid more for it than he did for his first house (£1500)

Safe to say hearing this threw me for a loop 😵‍💫

Incandescent red light lizard gang 👏 This bulb pumps out heat for fun 😂

Going to get a thread together of products I bought as a cheap DIY red light therapy setup.

Some guys on X have put the idea out there but they just suggest the bulb and don't suggest fixings etc. I'll show what I've done thus far (only applicable to the UK) soon.

Got myself this gadget which re pressures tennis balls.

I always find it so wasteful when you have a couple hits and they lose pressure by the next time you go to use them, so hopefully this will work and less balls will go to waste.

Neti pots are slept on.

Being able to rinse your nose out when you're stuffy does the world of good.

They should be a staple in every home, especially if you get allergies.

Tiramisu affogato featuring homemade vanilla ice cream and a dash of Madeira

How they treat cattle that supposedly have 'tb' is scandalous.

First of all the tests are all bullshit.

Remember Geronimo the Alpaca that was actually completely healthy and killed for a false positive?

But if you stop there you don't get to the root of the problem.

Prove bacteria actually cause the disease. (bacteria are the cleanup crew, hence why they're always seen at the site of 'infection')

When you fully delve deep into virology's methods of isolation the idea of killing these cows is insane.

A celebratory pint(s) to Ross being free will be had tomorrow.

Anyone else had issues posting on primal lately? Any advice?

Thankfully amethyst has my back.

Re gripping rackets is so satisfying and great at keeping your mind present 👍

January meetup next Thursday!

Protesting doesn't work. Appealing to those in power doesn't work.

Time to get serious, let's build a counter economy so successfully that the state has to concede to it.

We have the tools at our disposal. There's has never been a better time than now.

With the UK circling the drain it's about time we all collaborated our services in a counter economic fashion the like of which Konkin described.

We have Bitcoin/lightning/ecash, let's use it to undermine those in power.

Offer your services off the books and find others that will do the same.

How much clearer could it be that they aren't saving you and we won't get our country back through them & without a fight.

Notice how quickly the bovaer scandal was swept under the rug and normies carried on as normal?

Guarantee most coffee shops are serving you their lattes with it in now too. Yum.

If coconut oil had the same marketing pull behind it that Ozempic has normies could shred fat without any worry of side effects.

A damn shame 🤷‍♂️

IMO making resolutions in winter is counter productive. This should be a time of deep hibernation and laying low.

Instead making lifestyle changes in spring (When the new year was in old calendars) makes more sense.

Spring is a time where there is a huge shift in energy with much more growth and sunlight.

Plus... spring cleaning, spring forward etc etc.

Pomegranate juice, orange juice, honey & gelatin gummies

Perfect morning or night snack #peatstr

What if when people apply moisturiser etc to their face they are actually stimulating their lymph nodes and that is the reason for looking more youthful and not the product itself? 🤔

When not applying products when would you actually massage your face/neck (thyroid)?

It's that time of year where people get less sunlight, less fresh air & binge food/drink.

Then call their detox symptoms a seasonal flu..

Don't be one of those people! Take control of your narrative.

Bit of a first world problem but is it just me or are most modern clothing items not able to be tumble dried? A proper pet peeve of mine.

Affogato with homemade vanilla ice cream. Health food 🔥 https://video.nostr.build/c0ed03b377eb9f960ddad736703cacefae4b2d4a19c1d5505168cd95950ca06a.mp4

On my travels popped into The Cobbled Roastery in Edinburgh for some coffee paid in Bitcoin Location verified and updated on BTCMap 👌☕️

Notice how they're dubbing the latest US (s)election as the most important ever. Funny how they wheel that one out every 4 years isn't it? And people still take the bait..

If you have tight hips/hamstrings look into nerve flossing. It might not be the muscles that are tight but the nerves. Found this lately and thought I'd pass it on 👌

Another 'meat up' in the books. All paid for in Bitcoin from our amazing local butchers. https://image.nostr.build/4d22d20a1af95a0356398f49742fee051852424a7af6550096be809ff0279a73.jpg
