Playing on the easiest difficulty is fun because the enemies do basically no damage Which is fine for me because I'm enjoying the atmosphere of the game and the enemies are just obnoxious obstacles between me and puzzle-solving. The combat in Prey is pretty much a net negative, it's bad. Nothing is lost by playing on easy mode I mean this is a game that gives you a shotgun and still wants you to use stealth and sneak past certain enemies, then it puts very difficult enemies directly in your way so you HAVE to fight them. The game has good aspects, the combat isn't one.
