Fitore Delija receives the Architecture Award of the German Economy. Her project transforms the partially empty Bockenheim Campus of the Frankfurt University, a monument of brutalism constructed by Ferdinand Kramer and others. She proposes a transformation into a community space for the neighboorhood. She sees her work as a testament against demolition mania. She points out that 4,000 tons of carbon dioxide already sit in the building.
