It took 4 years after beginning regenerative, all natural grazing practices to begin seeing beneficial copraphilic insects. The golden dung fly is proof of work and a harbinger of a better planet free from poisons and war supported fertilizers.

There are entire worlds beneath our feet that care not for the mundane concerns of humans

In the long days of summer, my free time is short and I read only nonfiction in my 1/2-1 hour morning before the sun comes up.

As the days get shorter and the dark mornings longer I will shift to fiction.

What are your favorite novels, epics, sci fi thrillers, or distopian futures?

I'll read a 3-4 foot stack of books over the winter so don't hold back!

How do you start your day? I enjoy the early hours when the day is young , it's a good time to be out with the dogs setting fences for the cattle to graze.

Back in the day they called hogs " mortgage lifters" because most families would keep a few hogs for meat and lard and sell the piglets or whole hogs. They could easily be fed from leftover milk from the family milk cow and cheap corn. Today we keep hogs for the same meat and lard and the same sale markets, we feed skim milk from our milk cow after we've skimmed the cream, and buy feed from the local mill. Today we call them "sat stackers" instead of "mortgage lifters"!
