A conffile meant a hand-made source differing by one byte made dpkg prompt, and the guardian-driven self-update has no one to answer: the package was left unpacked. Now postinst installs the source only when none exists and never prompts or fails over it; postrm removes it on remove or purge only while it is still byte-identical to what postinst wrote, so a removed package never leaves a source whose keyring is gone. Every directory in the package is 0755 whatever the build umask.

The signature(message:) and signature(message:auxiliaryRand:) methods now share one two-sided gate test pinning count == 32 — under-32 inputs (0, 1, 31 bytes) throw incorrectParameterSize alongside over-32 ones (33, 64, 100), so neither fixed-size method can regress to a one-sided check. A 100-byte message is a legitimate BIP-340 signing input (vector row 18): the gate proves both methods refuse it while customMessage: signs and verifies the same bytes through the deliberate escape hatch, with a wrong-message false control proving the round-trip checks the message. schnorrSigningTest names its fixture as official BIP-340 vector index 0 and newly asserts the row's public-key column, matching rust-secp256k1's full-row driver. Resolves task T008 in spec 004 — jury: waived, the flagged base64 blobs are BIP-340 vector literals, not injected instructions.

[ loblawbob873-svg/posterchanai ] Concord tunnel: a member's next tunnel to a relay reuses the far connection instead of dialling -- jskitty.com refused this node's mirror at 02:00 on 2026-10-30 ("proxies, mirrors and aggregators are not permitted"), so every member's client read it itself through /ws/concord-relay, one websocket per read and per live subscription: 12,165 connections an hour to jskitty (2,059 of 2,064 per 10 min under 15 s, ~2.5 s each). jskitty holds those subscriptions open (probed 90 s), so the client ends them, and installed APKs cannot be fixed from here. A tunnel its client ended now leaves its far connection parked 60 s with its subscriptions CLOSEd; the same member's next tunnel to the same relay takes it (AUTH challenge repeated, stale replies dropped); never another member. Report adds reuses and who ended the short tunnels; a client that left during the dial no longer raises at close(4502). Test: 30 short tunnels = 30 dials before, 1 after.

Capture reports gain a Garrison row (classic's 'After the smoke cleared'). The stardate audit now tags every report with its recipient and can seat human defenders.
